OK, I said I was going on hiatus until the end of exams, but I just couldn't pass up a chance to give a review about a movie I watched last night (I just could not pass up the chance to have some fun and release some stress before exams!!!), "The Prestige".
"The Prestige" stars Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson and Michael Caine. Mainly all-male cast, but hey, it IS a great movie. Although the movie's plot is rather hard to comprehend, all the tricks are spellbinding and the movie is just great. I give a 4.5/5, 'cause the movie can be difficult to comprehend. At least, one thing is for sure (my sister and I agree) - Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale are great-looking, although here Christian Bale is better looking.

I'm going to get my hair layered this Saturday or Sunday! I can't wait. Well, we'll having a four-day holiday, six-day if you count the weekends 'cause of the PSLE Marking Days. Of course I can't play, so I'll be on hiatus, studying. Oh, and did I ever mention that Xieting's tagboard has become a chatroom for us? Mine is plain unpopular. No fair. Why do boys ALWAYS get all the attention?!

Yesterday, I went to my cousin's (Kuan Wee, referred to as KW here) house. We were watching a television drama on Channel 8 (the super-dramatic HK drama) as we waited for KW and another two cousins who are sisters, Olivia and Shi Ayn to return and arrive respectively. When Olivia and Shi Ayn arrived, my sis, my youngest cousin, Wei An, and I were down.
We played with sparklersthen . Wei An was so excited about playing, however, for every sparkler he doesn't drop, he drops at least five to seven sparklers. I did play, and although I was a little kiasi (scared of death), I did NOT drop the sparklers and run around screaming as though the sparklers would burn me up, which was practically what Wei An did EXACTLY. I think 'throw on the ground' sounds better than 'drop', doesn't it?
Before, at KW's unit in the condo, Wei An was practically screeching out a song twice. The only words that sounded at least partially clear were "Xiao yan zi", which means "Little swallow". To block out the noise, evil me listened to Canon Rock at a high volume on my MP3 player.
After playing with the sparklers, Olivia went up and Wei An returned home. So, only KW, my sis, Shi Ayn and I were left there. We were burning some candles and making my sis blow out the candles. There was a pool of wax left over though. After we were done, we went up after ten minutes which KW used to look for his friend. The rest of us were waiting for him. So, after that, we went back up to the unit.
I went to Geok Han's room (referred to as GH here), who is KW's elder sis, and helping out a little with installation of The Sims 2 which GH bought, I fell asleep till 2:20 am or so. Which means I missed the Euro 2008 qualifiers between England and Macedonia. Even if I woke up at, say, 11:30 pm, I would NOT be able to watch the match because the other girls were watching the High School Musical and Full House DVDs at that time. I'd be the only one who wanted to catch the match! (Ooh, they rhyme!) We went home at 2:30 or so, reached at 2:50 and I slept at 3. I woke up at 7:55! I always wake up before 8 am. Hahah.
P.S.: I checked out the result for the match. England 0-0 Macedonia. Argh, a DRAW!

Firstly, I'm sick with a sore throat and fever. As usual, before exams!
Secondly, Xieting's blog is so popular, you'd see a couple of new tags everyday!
Thirdly, the girls, aka Lynn and Mabel, need to have their sanity checked. They forced me to sit beside XT during HMT class, but he moved away and next to me was Regine instead! They also think pugs are ugly. I think they're rather cute...

Alright, I doubt you are going to believe this, but I just created an entire series of Twists And Turns pics for myself. I think it looks really good... And it's quite easy to create them. Think I'll do a tutorial on it later on and maybe do a multicoloured one later.

Today is children's day and there's a party going on downstairs, with VERY lame music and VERY lame activities. The organisers get a big fat -100/100 for taste in music. If you're number-illiterate, that means negative hundred over hundred. Actually, Sabrina invited me to another Children's Day party at a church, but my dad said no. When he says no, he MEANS no. Example: I've been trying to get my dad to let me learn guitar since this year, but no all the way. Guess I'll be stuck "celebrating" Children's Day myself at home. Perhaps play music really loudly and stuff. Myself. Ah well, you don't always get what you want in life, do you?
