I just returned from my P5 Camp, and it was FUN! I did not do 3 activities though - CRC, Zipline and Abseilling. CRC is short for Challenge Ropes Course. One must climb up this log and walk across a log or rope etc. Watching made me have a headache...Zipline is like Flying Fox - go ZIP down a steel cable while holding onto something. Very scary and very fast. I helped out instead. Helpers push this metal movable staircase for the people who try the Zipline to land on. An instructor was screaming when we let go of her rope. The rope was for safety. For Abseilling, where one holds on to a rope and climbs down a wall. I got so scared when I was up that I had to run down to the toilets to throw up. I know, I'm pathetic.
Basically, the camp was fabulous. We learned some songs. I'll post my favourite two.

The computer broke down for many days, thus I was unable to blog and use the comp. My dad sent the computer for fixing and it was fixed last night. Thank goodness!!!

I'm going to camp tomorrow, and I'm a little scared. Super-thrilling stuff are not my favourite activities in the world. Oh whatever...I dunno what to write though, except for this:

I am a little sick today. And it's Father's Day. Typical how I get sick during last week or so of the holidays. I've got stomach aches and sleepiness *yawn*. That is SO not gonna stop me from watching tonight's Brazil vs Australia match. I am not, not, NOT going to miss the match!!! And I've devised a plan to watch the final match: sleep extra early, wake at 2am, watch the opening minutes, return to sleep, wake and watch half-time, sleep, and wake and watch the final minutes. That is, if the match is gonna be a little boring. Or I'll just wake at two, watch the whole thing and return to sleep if the match is between two great countries. I'll miss the match if my parents refuse to let me carry out my "plan" or the match is going to be deathly boring in my point of view. Adios!

I stayed up last night to watch the World Cup match between England and T&T (Trinidad & Tobago). For almost the whole match, it was a 0-0 score (think Sweden vs T&T match), until Crouch scored a goal in the eighty-something(th) minute. But he didn't do his robotic victory dance. I was looking forward to seeing him do the dance. Anyway in extra time, Gerrard scored the second (and last) goal, in the 92nd minute or something for England! And the match ended soon after, with England winning 2-0. It was pretty boring at first. I wanted to see a goal scored. But no, it was not to be until Crouch scored. Thank goodness the bore ended there! Maybe tonight I'll stay up to watch the match if it's worth watching.

I was reading the World Cup news this morning and found out that Spain beat Ukraine 4-0. Spain IS good. At last, a non-1-0 score! It has been pretty boring with all the 1-0 scores. The Trinidad and Tobago vs Sweden match was worse - 0-0. The Brazil vs Croatia match wasn't much better. Even though Brazil won, it was a shocker for me - the best team in the world scoring only one goal in ninety minutes? Seriously. I expected something like 3-0. Ah well.

The end of the hols is drawing ever so closer *cries* and I shall, therefore, miss all the fun!!! I haven't finished my homework. P5 work is so tiring. And there's a camp and I heard rumours we'll be sleeping in an old school. I kinda believe in ghosts, having seen one (my grandfather's) before, according to my mother. An old school is just creepy. And I'll be bored!

Last night I was at my cousin's house and I was watching X2: X-Men United. Was a very nice movie. And I discovered that it had 2 things in common with Superman Returns:
a) The director of both movies is Bryan Singer
b) James Marsden acts in both movies (Cyclops aka Scott Summers in X-Men, Lois Lane's husband in Superman Returns)
A little surprised, I was.

The other day, on the night of the opening match between Trinidad & Tobago and Sweden, I dreamt that Sweden won 2-1. Actually, the score was 0-0. However, the score for the match between Argentina and Cote d'Ivoire (I think also known as Ivory Coast) was 2-1. Argentina won. Cheers for my "prophetic" dreams!!! LOL :P

As I'm typing, it's 9:03 pm and there's a World Cup match going on, England vs. Paraguay. England probably will win. At midnight last night, the very first match started, Germany vs. Costa Rica. Germany won, 4-2. Was pretty obvious Germany would win. Home ground, like y' know?

Anyway my sis has a critique (positive one, however) of the movies she watched - X-Men III: The Last Stand aka X3 aka X3:The Last Stand aka X-Men The Last Stand, M:i:III aka M:i:3 aka Mission Impossible III/3 and Poseidon aka Poseidon Adventure. Lol, I included each movie's "aka" names. Yes, I'm being lame. She wrote that my cousin and I think that Ben Foster, who plays Angel in X3, resembles Ryan Key. Umm, hello, she too thinks the same as us. Isn't she candid *eyerolls*.

Haha, just kidding. Third post today, by the way. Hmmm...nothing much to say, bye!!!

Had to repost the videos because there was an error in the code or something. Or maybe it's just my computer. I must say Ryan Key gets to act with a LOT of females in the videos:
Ocean Avenue - He's chasing after a lady who stole his suitcase
Rough Landing, Holly - He's singing about a woman, accidentally sleeps with a woman, gets chased by a very angry guy because of the latter...you get the idea, don't you?
Only One - He's with a girl in the video. Kinda dancing, walking, singing...In the third chorus scene, he was probably carried by a number of female fans, if not all. I think you know what I mean already.
Way Away - He got teased at by some girl and gets to kiss another girl. Need I say more?
Lights and Sounds - I only mentioned this because the video was in my post. I love the song, quite like the video, but there ain't any girls mentioned here.

Today I'm going to my cousin's house and stay there till Tuesday. Then on Tuesday, he's gonna come over to my house till Friday. On Wednesday, my friends will be coming for a project. A pretty busy week. LOL

My third post today...been multi-posting a LOT. I just sent blogskin tutorials to my friends. When my sister first saw my blogskin, she was pointing to Ryan Key and saying, "Angel!" That is so lame. They just bear a resemblance to each other. And both do act. As in, Ryan Key acts in the Yellowcard videos. There's really nothing much to blog about.

Only One
Ryan and his in-video girlfriend are walking and Ryan's singing. They are just walking and singing and there's this military protest or something. The song goes on with the soldiers and the like. During the choruses, YC is onstage performing and "outside". During the third chorus scene, Ryan falls on his fans and they carry him while he plays. SO cool. During the second verse, YC, mainly Benjamin Harper, puts flowers in the soldiers' rifles. Ryan takes one of them out and puts it in his GF's hair, touching her face. There's this girl blowing bubbles while Sean's playing the violin. Then there's this fog and Ryan and his GF are kinda seperated. After the fog scene, Ryan finds his GF and they're going around in circles holding hands. Nearing the very end of the video, they stop and look on as a military tank drives towards them.
Way Away
Um, there's this white car and YC comes out of the car. LP sits and they they begin to actually play the song. So Ryan keeps singing and then, it shows him walking with his guitar case and putting it away. Another similar car parks - with Ryan inside. Or perhaps it's his doppelganger. Just kidding. Then Ryan comes out, watching Yellowcard play and as my cousin puts it, "Ryan Key looks like he's screaming at himself lor.". Yep he's watching himself play! After the chorus, it shows Ryan as a cashier. Then some girl throws something into the bag Ryan's packing and he seems to be glaring at the girl, who laughs ridiculingly at him. That is, if there is even a word called ridiculingly.
And he's still watching himself play o.0 . Then he's cleaning a car and someone purposely dirties the car before running away. Poor guy looks angrily after the person and goes back to cleaning the car. Then there's this girl sitting down and watching out for Ryan. He comes along and sits down. Then they kinda make out, if you know what I mean. During the chorus line: "Way away/ away from here I'll be", they're just singing. Then after that, they show Ryan eating breakfast, lunch or dinner with his parents rather grudgingly. His in-video dad is kind of scolding him, and so is his in-video mum. So they do a close-up on Ryan's in-video parents' mouths. Ryan is watching them in a bored way. Then they show him sitting down on a sofa and playing the guitar, flipping the pages of a book, at the dining table, stirring his food without much interest, a bit at the grocery store and at the place where he's singing with the other YC members. He's singing the lines: "Letting out the noise inside of me (x2)/Every windowpane is shattering(x2)/Cutting up my words before I speak (Cutting up my words)/This is how it feels to not believe". Then he's, again, singing-shouting at "Ryan", who looks away, looks back at Ryan and walking off. then Yellowcard's playing in full-force with Sean doing an amazing backflip. "Ryan" gets back into the car and drives off with YC and himself still playing Way Away. Interesting video.
Lights and Sounds
Yellowcard is, basically, just playing the song. During one part, "I've got a way to work this out/I've got a way and you know how/I've got a way to work this out/I've got a way and you know how/I've got a way to work this out/I've got a way...I've got a way to work this out, I've got a way and you know how/I've got a way to work this out, I've got a way...(x2 this two lines)" while they're playing iun the video, there are these REALLY cool light beams all around. And after that they're just playing the song. Not much acting here.

Just now, Blogger was down for maintenance, thus I could not blog. But now I can! Haha! Anyway this Saturday, I'm going over to stay at my cousin's house again. I'll be coming back on tuesday with my cousin who'll stay till Friday. So the three of us, including my sister, will stay at each other's home for 3 nights.
If you don't want to watch the videos, here's the very detailed details of the videos:
Rough Landing, Holly
So Ryan is kinda going to sleep and he take his passport or something and looks at it before putting it down the bed. Then suddenly, he's sucked into the bed and emerges in someone else's bed...with some guy's wife or girlfriend! Ryan looks VERY shocked. So that guy, who I'll just call Angry Guy, tries to chase Ryan but he runs into the bathroom and attempts to jump out of the window but it becomes a...manhole thing?
Then he's singing and there's this goth-like guy offering him something. As he turns back, he finds that he's at some party full of people in black and white. Then a little before the chorus, there's this fat guy swinging his jacket around his head (irrelevant, but I find it funny). Right before the chorus, Ryan turns back and he and the rest of Yellowcard are playing the song. At the end of the chorus, Angry Guy's trying to come after him.
Ryan runs into some hallway and he tosses his jacket behind him, which vanishes and he runs into some room with some goth girl looking at him like he's crazy or something (no offence to YC fans). He opens up THE Ocean Avenue suitcase and picks up a necklace or something and looking at it before the doorknob shakes.
Suddenly, Ryan's sucked into the suitcase with the goth girl looking shocked. Beneath the suitcase is the...sea? And there're people playing cards or something and he looks at them, puzzled before swimming to the surface and emerging out of a toilet SINK. As he manages to get himself out, he falls backwards sleeping. When he's awake, he's on a surgical bed or something and LP is in action again, being the "surgeon". He's picking money notes out of Ryan's body or something...Then there's Angry Guy in disguise as a surgeon. He suffocates Ryan with an oxygen mask thing and when Ryan's eyes close, he's suddenly awake again, gliding backwards in the hallway looking real troubled.
Then he's sitting on a couch and kissing a girl, who kisses Ryan Mendez..you get the idea.Then Ryan (Key) turns his head after making out with the last girl and he's singing. At the last part, he falls back in some police car and there are people who are trying to get in or something. As the video ends, there are girls surrounding Ryan and he looks...I have no idea here. There's this police officer outside, who's just looking on. Then the video ends -continue in next post-

*flinches at horrible skip of Ocean Avenue video*
Ok, that was off the point. That is, if the post actually HAS any point. Anyway, for those who don't want to watch the video, you can just read its description here:
Ryan Key (we'll call him Ryan here) is lying face-down on the floor. He gets up, shaking the glass off him and sprints down the street. He crashes into two rows of nuns, and then runs down an alley. He crashes into some guy with a supermarket trolley or something and falls. A car whizzes by and he desperately tries to chase after it, but two "villains" (Sean Mackin, we'll refer to him just as Sean here and LP) get him.
Then in the chorus, they're just rocking and as someone changes the licence plate of a car, take two begins.
Ryan is again lying face-down. He sprints /again/ down the street. He avoids the nuns, runs down the alley, sees the guy with the supermarket trolley, jumps over it, is a bit too early and gets kinda run down by the car.
Then there's take three. He's sleeping in bed, and there's a glimpse of the suitcase. Then when he awakes, he sees that the suitcases is gone and sees a lady with shades with the suitcase and going down the lift. So Ryan grabs his jacket, runs outta the door and attempts to run up the stairs but Sean's there. Then when he tries to run down, a grinning LP's there. So he jumps out the window. Lying face-down, blah blah blah, the nuns divide themselves and Ryan runs between them. He runs down the back alley, slaps palms with the trolley guy and stops the car right before it hits him. And the lady sees Sean and LP about to catch up. She takes off her shades, nods for Ryan to get into the car and drives off with Sean and LP desperately trying to catch up.

Isn't the Ocean Avenue video nice? The video for 'Rough Landing, Holly' is quite sequel-esque of the Ocean Avenue vid. I mean: jumping out of the window and the same suitcase involved? Seriously! Ryan Key, as usual, stars in it. Ryan Key always stars in the videos. Don't I like Yellowcard??? Ahaha!

Just returned from my cousin's house. Stayed there till today. After coming home, I ran off to Causeway Point and met my friends there. there were six of us, but only three of us, Mei Zhen, Lynn and I went to watch a movie: Over the Hedge. Actually, it's a really nice movie! Not so childish! However, Lynn and Mei Zhen were, well, a little loud. We went to the library and we then went to Northpoint. Lynn and Michelle were with me till seven. I then ran to my mum's workplace and we went home together. I was at Popular bookstore and wanted to buy the X-Men: The Last Stand book, but decided against it.
Talking about X-Men: The Last Stand, it was a GREAT movie! And here's a bit of girl talk: Logan aka Wolverine and Warren aka Angel are shuai!!! Hugh Jackman (Wolverine for those who have been living under a rock) is really shuai, while my cousin, sis and I think that the guy playing Angel, Ben Foster, looks very much like Ryan Key, lead vocalist of Yellowcard, which happens to be one of my favourite bands!!! Of course, there ARE differences. But their facial features are very alike: blond hair, double eyelids, usual American complexion (very pale pinkish-orange kind...) and nice eyes. Maybe they have the same eye colour! *update* I doubt they have the same eye colour - Ryan Key's seems to be brown, Ben Foster's seem to be dark blue.

Sihsi has been spamming the tagboard. She keeps saying that 5E is bad and 5F is way better. Probably she means it as a mean joke but it's not nice! I'm pretty bored, and I've taken up the challenge to 'thon till 3 a.m.! To 'thon is to willingly and purposely not sleep until a certain time where the "marathon" ends. 'thon is short for marathon. It has been pretty fun these couple of days :)

regina is a very hyper and rather 'dark' 12-year-old girl. she totally enjoys listening to rock music, dancing, singing and writing. she loves her friends and famiily, Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, and rock music. she dislkes many guys in the class and everything creepy, creepy-crawlies included but excluding skulls and bats because they really aren't so bad. she was in 1/2H in 2002/03, 3/4AA in 2004/05 and 5E in 2006. she is currently in 6E, where she really likes it. she hopes to go to SNGS next year. she has far too many favourite things to list. her wishlist is at the section 'greed'. remember to get her presents on her birthday, which falls on 12 April! :P
