I think i'm going delirious with joy. Just look at the new blogskin picture! My sister think it's beautiful. My maid likes it too. And I absolutely love it. I just messed around with lines and the tools, and this is the product! I'm quite proud of it myself. I think it's the best work I produced. The picture is called Twists and Turns because of its design and the fact that in life, there are many twists and turns! My sis wants a smaller, pink version. Guess I'll have to forgive her for disliking Mrs Buck's work!

I went to Bishan Library today, and I borrowed four books: The Shadow of a Shadow of A Dream by Catherine Lim, Discovering Mythology: the Natural World by Susan Glick, Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul : The Real Deal School and last but not least The Mother by Pearl S. Buck. And it so happens my sister absolutely hates Mrs Buck's works, so she's really freaked out. Me 1-0 Her. I love freaking her out. So you see, we have a bad relationship in terms of literary works. She hates literary works to the core for some reason I barely understand and barely know.
As of now, we are watching the replay of singapore Idol. Or rather, my sister and maid are. I do like hearing their singing, but not so much actually WATCHING it. I usually like just LISTENING. Well then, ciao!

So I redesigned my blog. This is one of my darkest ones so far. I really, really like making blogskins. Many of them reflect my mood, likings or my personality. Once I had an all-pink one, which embodied my liking for girly colours at the time. My Yellowcard (the BAND! NOT THE CARD!!!) blogskins reflect how much I like Yellowcard. This one reflects a darker side of me. I'm a really angry person sometimes, so... I haven't had a dark blogskin for a pretty long time!

I can't wait for this Friday, when my school's gonna celebrate Children's Day! I'm going to wear a black t-shirt with the word "Sugar" on it, but the mirror image shows "Spice"! Pretty cool, huh? I'll pair it with my usual pair of black pants or a pair of blue jeans and top it off with a pair of white sneakers or something. No slippers or slip-ons. As usual, anyway...'
This Friday will also be my sister's birthday cum exam day. She's not getting a present from me!!! I'm half-broke anyway, so... She also said that she's not going to take E. lit next year!!! That's 25% relief and 75% blow. Relief cos I won't need to do her homework anymore and blow because she was and is my only daily source of E. Lit books. Not anymore, though. Guess I'll have to go to the library every week!

Talking about retardancy, during Chinese class, my teacher mentioned how guys were placed of higher importance than females. My teacher explained that when a boy was born, he was like some kinda jewel. When a girl was born, she was like some kinda cheap roof-making material. This boy behind me said, "So you girls very cheap, lah!" My answer: "Unfortunately, you guys are painfully retarded." He immediately shut up. It's ALWAYS nice to deflate some super-egotistical boy's ego. Always.

My sister cooked a dish of long beans and carrot about an hour ago and I was afraid I had to be a "tester" (I call it victim) for her food. According to her, it ws tasteless. She drained out the water or something, so it doesn't taste as nice. At least, I did not neeed to be a victim! I've only ever enjoyed her mushroom and sausage omelette. The cheese omelette I made a couple of years back tasted nicer. Okay, I'm biased. Well, got to go, bye.

It took me a few hours to make this blogskin and a total of four experimental "top blog-pictures". I settled on the last pic. I first made the rainbow-like gradient, then made it into the main background, scribbled loads of hearts, made 4 versions of the scribbled-hearts pic, put it in and voila, new blogskin My sister says it's actually quite nice. I have a nagging feeling that I have to make a fifth version though...

Recently I have been playing a lot of MapleStory and Audition. Reviews:
PROS
a) It's SUPER fun b) There's a Cash Shop! Makes it great to buy lots of "extra" items! c) Just...fun...must...play...
CONS a) Dying is VERY bad for non-beginners b) Cash items are bloody expensive c) It can be hard to level up
AUDITION:
PROS: a) Again, it's very fun b) Dressing up is super cool c) The joy of dancing in the game!
CONS: a) It can be hard to get the hang of it b) Den (currency of Audition) is difficult to earn if you are a newbie, like me c) It's very competitive...to a bad extent for some, like me

I watched Tokyo Drift today, and believe me, it was super cool! The drifting and stuff were SO cool! There were some very funny parts, too. Takashi was super ugly, with a flat nose and pear-shaped head. Sean was the good guy. I must say he's quite good-looking, except that he's just not on my swoon-worthy list. No match for Orlando Bloom (HAR HAR)! The guys, who sat one row behind us, were a right royal pain in the neck, because Benedict kept kicking my chair and they attempted to nick our popcorn. And the neoprints the guys took were just horrible, because Xie Ting decorated it like crap. After that I bought the High School Musical music CD and went to the arcade with the guys AND the girls. After we had redeemed some prizes, we were searching for the guys. Three times. And guess what, they had left first without informing us! Complete irresponsibility! Never mind though. I've got a headache and fever, but I'm staying up till 2 am or so to watch the Euro 2008 Qualifiers match between England and Andorra. I'm supporting England! Cheers for England!

Tomorrow I will be watching Tokyo Drift with Lynn, Mabel, Melissa, Xie Ting, Zong Yao and Benedict.Yes, there ARE guys. Haha! Anyway, I really can't wait to watch the movie! I'm also planning to buy the High School Musical Asian Version CD tomorrow. Mabel will be footing the neoprint costs (how nice of her!), while Lynn will be chipping in a bit for the snacks and drinks. We all want nachos...goodness, that's going to be expensive!
