was better than the countdown party. i went to Kuan's condo with my family. only han was there first. we were just watching tv. after some time more people came, like olivia and shi ayn. we under-21s were just watching tv. still.

then my older relatives arrived, like married older cousins, and aunts and uncles. then i was kind of embarrassed when one of my older cousins talked to me. our convo:

him: So your mum says you support Kuan Wee in his guitar-playing?
me: huh? (cause i didn't get what he meant by 'support'.)
him: *repeats*
me: uh. yeah. *nods head*
him (turning to mum): What 'huh'?! (apparently he misheard 'uh' as 'huh'...) Eh, she's a bit blur... *blah blah BLAH*
mum: *agrees, indirectly scolds me without realising that i exist, ha ha...*
me: *stalks away cause i'm pissed at being wronged*
cousin: Oh, hey, sorry lah...
me: *rolls eyes*

sucks right? that's why i pretend i'm mute in front of the members of my extended family, save for the following:

see? these people don't really give a shit if i'm a bit blur... i can't be perfect all the time you know... it's like these other relatives expect me to be perfect. a perfect person does NOT exist. unfortunately they don't know. it's so freaking ANNOYING. which is why i'm gonna make a name for myself one day and show them all.

anyway, THANKFULLY most of them left by about 10 PM. only olivia, shi ayn, their parents and my family were left. shi ayn and i played Speed and Blackjack. THAT was fun. we two are quite close you know. haha. lke kuan n my sis, han and olivia. here's a list:

sian lah. basically just watching people dance, then talk and eat... but a lot of us sneaked away to the bowling alley. haha. i have back probs so obviously i cldnt play...

but bowling is quite fun sehhs. my aunt played best, with a score of 100+. all of us aren't VERY good players, so there. lol. my sister was the one who "xi long gou"-ed the most. so that was basically the fun-est part of the night.

well, the countdown was pretty fun too. i was like shaking hands with my parents' friends (who know me too) and greeting all of them "merry christmas". but one of the sadder things is that my parents' friends' kids, whom i last saw 2-3 years ago, didn't recognise me at ALL. they were like my little brothers. but time passes and people change. oh well.

so after the grand lucky draw we went home. did i mention that kuan's family and my aunt's family all went home first? so only left my own family. xd

i returned from Genting, Malaysia ystd. my brief "travel journal":

Day 1, Dec 18th

Slept at 2AM, woke up at 4:30 AM and showered, etc etc etc. we were in the coach by 6:15AM and we set off at about 6:30AM. we arrived at Genting at about 1 PM. we were mainly walking around but we did go to the arcade. my sis played ParaPara and she had an audience! i didn't play much, just Daytona and Time Crisis.

Day 2, Dec 19th

Went down to KL today, Sungei Wang Plaza. it was a greeeeat shopping experience. i got a new pair of shoes!!! it's brown and silver, with white shoelaces. the design has silver skulls against a brown background. lovelovelove those shoes. other than that i didnt really get anything. oh yeah, i got a new brown hoodie. i love hoodies. but i still want a purple hoodie, a la Pete Wentz/Gabe Saporta. :D

Day 3, Dec 20th

I was chiong-ing arcade today with my jie. we played token ticket games and accumulated 939 tickets! spent like RM50. but it was soo fun. we redeemed a little mushroom soft toy, a mug and stickers. then in the evening we went to the arcade. i played time crisis like siao. got to area 3, stage 1. ALMOST finished it. uggggh.

Day 4: Dec 21st

just came back lor. didn't do much. woke up early, checked out early and everything. the coach was cool though. there was a mini-TV system!!! i watched Shrek 2 and Troy. Shrek 2 was nice. then Troy, the one starring Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom, was the cut version, so nothing too sick was shown. there WAS a lot of blood, but yeah. other than that... nothing uch.

going to Raykal's BBQ Xmas party soon. can't wait. hope it'll be fun. :)

drama queen

i just might be a drama queen. after all, i do love drama in my fanfics. in chronological order:

1st Fanfic (Harry Potter songfic, called Only One, after the Yellowcard song of the same name): Either Harry or Hermione dies. This oneshot is a completely non-canon, Harmony (ie Harry/Hermione) fic.

2nd Fanfic (The Covenant fanfic, called The True Battle): Truthfully there has been some near-flawless vocab/grammar there, but it's somewhat plotless shit. The drama: evil guy returns to life to try killing off people. Drama? You bet.

3rd Fanfic (another Covenant fanfic, called For Better or Worse): One of my better fanfics. There's a fair bit of drama: jealous guys. evil ghost-trying-to-make-descendant-evil. characters having sobfests...

4th Fanfic (my favourite, possibly BEST fanfic by far: FALL OUT BOY fanfic, I'll Keep Singing This Lie): Yes, this IS my favourite fanfic that I've written. I love it to death. The drama comes at the latest chapter, Ch 10, where the bitch of the story goes kissing Pete Wentz (I kinda hated that scene... it's PETE WENTZ.) and leaves the main character feeling betrayed. All issues shall be resolved in future chapters, obviously.

5th Fanfic (second favourite, possibly 2nd best piece of work: MCR fanfic, I'm Trying To Let You Know): My 2nd favourite fanfic. Drama? You've got it: Jealous guys (again), a serial-dating, cheating asshole, and emotions running high.

Drama queen. I might be one. If not a drama queen, then a drama princess. Blah.

Fall Out Boy doing a cover of Pantera's Walk. While it wasn't the best Walk cover out there (I've heard the original Pantera version and the Avenged Sevenfold version), you HAVE to give FOB props for doing a pretty awesome cover of a metal song. I love Walk, it's a fantastic song. I trust my music taste enough to know what's good and what isn't. Joe and Andy showed off their kickass skills in this one. After all, they did start out in the hardcore/metal scene, save for Patrick (though he was a drummer before, and his voice isn't exactly the metal type). Enjoy. And don't diss it simply because it's hardcore. By the way Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die is the guest vocalist.

today i went shopping with fel. i didn't really do a LOT of shopping. hahs.

we went to Bugis Street first. i saw an MCR tshirt for $10. though i didn't buy it at first. we had lunch at BK. i just ate onion rings for lunch, and drank ice lemon tea. i wanted to explore more of the place. so we did, but it wasn't so fun, and some shops were closed, PLUS we didn't have a lot of money. so after exploring i bought the t-shirt. then there was a shop selling earrings. 8 for $10. fel bought 8 pairs (naturally. who wouldn't? it's SUCH a deal.)

after that we went to Bugis Junction and walked around a LOT. we were just walking and walking and walking. up, down, left, right, centre (why is it never centre, right, left, down, up?). my legs got pretty tired. ha. we went to gift shops and everything. fel bought a keychain at one of the shops. the keychain is a super-realistic cookie.

then we went to this stationery/gift shop. then there was this notebook with a tattoo design on it. then i mentioned how all the guy celebs i like are all tattooed, ans how some of 'em have lip rings too! ha. we started laughing like hell, cause we were imagining some things... (nothing TOO sick...)

afterwards we went to AMK Hub. then we were like just chatting and we happened to talk about our good and bad points. then we somehow talked about guys with tattoos and lip rings... can't remember why. oh, and a bit about shirtless-ness. (i've seen guys shirtless before. even, say Pete Wentz. *_*)

WE ARE SIIICK RIGHT?! well, after that we went to Jubilee and went to Popular. we were browsing books and gifts and chatting. then we saw this one book called "From Boys To Men", a "guide to NS life", apparently. we joked about buying some of those books for the boys as christmas gifts and if they'd accept it. (just imagining the looks on their faces cracked us up.)

then we went to Mos Burger and decided that the meals there were too expensive. thus we walked to KFC and had $4 student meals. after that we went home. it was a GREAT day. :DD

[Stacia Madison's POV]

I looked at Jess from one end of my bed. She was lying down, reading a magazine. "Jessica Wood, are you DONE with that magazine?" I asked in exasperation, putting my guitar on the bed.

"Come on, Stace, just a bit more..." Jess sighed, finally looking up. As soon as she did, she resumed her reading.

I rolled my eyes. If a stranger had seen my best friend now, they would dismiss her as a some ditzy high-school girl who was only interested in boys and fashion. Her long blonde hair and bright blue eyes only accentuated that even more. However, to those who knew her, they knew that beneath that very exterior was a pretty proficient drummer whose iPod playlist mainly consisted of heavy metal and rock music.

Then, the ringing of the doorbell jerked me from my thoughts. I jumped up and sped out to the living room to answer the door. When I did, I broke into a huge smile. It was my cousin, Patrick. "Hey, Trick," I greeted.

Sudenly I found Jess beside me. How she had guessed that it was Patrick, I had no idea. "Hi Patrick!" she said cheerily.

"Hey, girls. I brought a friend home today," Patrick responded, stepping inside the house.

"Hi. You're Stacy, aren't you?" the guy who stepped in after him said. "I'm Pete, Pete Wentz. Nice to meet you."

My breath caught for a second. This Pete was cute. "Hi. Nice to meet you too."

i'm in an emotional sort of mood. i just read about the passing away of the guitarist of Hawthorne Heights, a band that's friendly with Fall Out Boy, Plain White T's, etc. while i've never listened to Hawthorne Heights before, i've pretty much heard about it and really appreciate the band.

it really makes you appreciate life. it's just so sad that anyone has to die. you really don't know how short life can be... so work hard and play hard. don't take things for granted.

on that note i realise i have a few aims in life.

1) to get a work of mine published in any form (school publication, whatever) and read by many, before i'm sixteen.
2) to learn how to play gutar and at least 5 songs before i'm sixteen.
3) don't screw up when i'm an organiser.
4) learn how to cook.
5) get a bf before i'm 20.
6) get less than 11 pts in my L1R5

idk why i have some of those aims. but i'm dead set, excuse the pun, on aims 1 and 2.

a tale of lateness and collecting money and chasing people

so i went to collect money from those gng to the chalet today. but yingyi was in taiwan so i couldn't collect from her. then rongfang was sick and yanli was penniless. then JIAHUI, VARUN and JIAMING did not show up!!!

I NEED TO COLLECT THE MONEY THEY OWE ME!!! GROWL. MUST ORGANISE ANOTHER OUTING TO COLLECT MONEY!!! or else we'll be short of chalet funds.

tasha arrived abt 20-30 mins late. then later I WAS THE TREASURER. blahh. after tt we went to e arcade. watched sarah and yunting play that table-hockey game. you know, use tat thing to hit the disc across the table to shoot it into e other person's goalpost. then sarah and liying played. haha. they played good games.

afterwards yunting, shiya and i went to Mini toons and bought candy. wahaha. candy ishh nicehh! yunting bought a LOT of marshmallows leh. then we headed to kfc for lunch. we bought the buddy meal. SO MUCH LEH. of course... we couldnt finish it. haha.

after that we headed home. so in all it was a pretty good day.

by the way, since i cldnt find anyone to help us book, i asked jiaxuan to ask his sis to help us. then he was like, very troublesome. then i was so pissed i chased him into popular and then out. after that in the arcade, i chased him a bit before giving up because i was wearing slippers. if i ran on smooth ground wearing them, i'd fall flat on my face.

then at home, on msn, i bugged him like hell. he FINALLY relented. HA! the power of persuasion. i wield it well.

so... the No Naked Lights videos. it's Kuan's side project (No Naked Lights). while the lead singer doesn't sing very well. i think the rest of the band is good. Balqios is a good band. SUPPORT LOCAL TALENT! so i'm gonna update my favourites list to include Balqios too! though i'm mainly in this for Kuan, who's like an elder bro to me. but the whole band is great as a whole... if there're any balqios vids i'll post em. seeya!

i'm sick. sick sick sick sick SICK. my head fills like it's gonna BURST from the headache. but then again it might be an after-effect of sleeping on the sofa. normally i DON'T sleep on the sofa, but the first time i did, which was a couple days ago, my DAD was sleeping in my room. feeling incredibly wasted, i crashed on the sofa. woke up with bad hair, a bad headache and a sore neck, in order of badness (worst last). today kuan was sleeping in my room. so i crashed on the sofa once again. my hair wasn't so messed up.

you know, ever since i cut my hair, it doesn't mess up as easily as it would pre-haircut after sleeping!!! in the past it'd be a total tangled mess at the back. now it's just a little flyaway-ish, which is very easily fixed (simply comb through with your fingers a couple of times!)!!! the benefits of having shorter (and better-looking-when-let-down) hair! the only bad part is when it's tied up. some hair falls out of the ponytail and some hair sticks out. eep.

why am i talking about hair? i must be delusional, bored, etc. goodbye. till i blog again.

PS: anyone played the game Eudemons Online before? it's my latest computer-games craze.

to update on what i did yesterday! came home super late last night (technically, it was this morning as it was after 12 midnight) so i couldn't use the comp.

i went for a family lunch at AMK Hub. but i ate very little since i had my breakfast just a couple hours eariler. afterwards my sis and i went to kuan's house after, like, 1 and a half months! we saw geok han (also my cousin. she's kuan's elder sister) watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose, which is actually a good movie. it was kinda scary sometimes but i all it was relly nice. i applaud the actress. acting out those scenes must have been very difficult.

after that, we (my sis, geok han and i) set off for Bugis cos kuan and his band (BALQIOS) was playing a gig at Red Bar in Bugis (no age limit la). then we were taking mrt to bugis and waited for gh's friend. after she came we walked to Bugis Village and met kuan, who took us to Red Bar.

i'm never gonna go there again. why? because the atmosphere was.... blah. it was NOISE, not MUSIC. you will NOT believe just how much screaming there was. by screaming i mean something like heavy metal sons, where there's usually screaming (like A7X. listen to one of the older A7X songs and you'll know what i mean). when we first went in this band was playing Secon Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold. i think this band or the next one spoiled the amp. so ppl had to go fix it. anyways it was just three or four metal bands, one after another, doing TONS of screaming. but the band that came before kuan played another two A7X songs: Chapter Four and Unholy Confessions. they were better than Second Heartbeat. other than that it was just EXTREMELY noisy. and above the stage there were lights, with this one white light that kept flashihng SUPER QUICKLY such that when you move, things look like they're fast-forwarded. not to mention, they make your eyes hurt.

anyway i cheered when BALQIOS came up, although not too loudly since i was STILL having a cough. they played The Great Escape first, followed by Face Down, then Your Guardian Angel and finally How Far We've Come, by Boys Like Girls, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, TRJA again and Matchbox Twenty, respectively. i loved The Great Escape and How Far We've Come best. they were great! actually kuan can sing pretty well. i mean, you know, it's not so bad. it was the first time i saw him perform and i thought it was good. he played at Northland once, you know. during last year's Alumni Night. BALQIOS has gone on to play more shows since then. which is great. personally i think BALQIOS was the "softest" band, since they didn't have a single heavy metal song in the line-up. maybe i'm terribly biased, but i liked BALQIOS best.

after that we had dinner at QQ Noodle and then we went to Bugis Street to buy some snacks. we then went back to kuan's house, with kuan. we also met the drummer. he was pretty nice. so after we alighted at AMK mrt station we rented some DVDs - Stomp The Yard and Step Up. we watched Stomp The Yard first. it's a gret movie. and the dance moves were GREAT. it's called stepping, and it's really pretty good.

after watching the show we went back home. kuan came with us since he's working today, at the clinic where my mum works too. so yeah. that's about it. :)

Monday -> Escape Theme Park

so i went to Escape with Bo Yu, Ying Yi, Li Ying, Yan Li and Zong Yao (btw, notice how all their names have a Y in them? my name doesn't!). so i didn't take many rides... just the family coaster, twice. i really wanted to go to Wet n' Wild but the queue was far too long. well. it was okay la... cant remember much. my memory sucks. haha. wish i had a photographic memory.

Tuesday -> Sick

title says it all. i was SOOO sick. ugh. still am, but a little better.

Wednesday -> Class Party

it was fun until the ice war started. thank you, sarah and jiaming. i went outside to escape the MADNESS. sat on the swing thing with Juliana and Yun Ting. afterwards i went back but it wa still ultra boring, till i could play cards with some of tem, like Tasha, Amirah and Diyana. ahhh. i always LOST. hahaha. well. but i spent a lot of time chatting with Juliana and Shi Ya while sitting on the swing. it was very fun, really. talking with besties is so relaxing. love em all. haha. it wasn't MUCH of a success (the class party). hoping for better results with the class chalet!

Thursday -> Results Day

uhhm. so i went to sch, HYPER NERVOUS. so i was waiting with sarah and the rest, till they showed the slideshow with the results and everything. i was so happy when i found out i had 3 A*s with a score of 258! and Mdm Moliah said we were compulsory members of e alumni! :DD

one word - BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyways it was just going up on stage, then getting d prize, THEN gong down. BORING. but one thing that pissed me off utterly was how shaun so won the Most Outstanding Pupil Of The Year. the teachers have NO idea how much we hate him. he's bossy and arrogant. i heard one time he stopped a girl who was carrying a bottle of soft drink from gg up to her class, then he told her to throw it away but she drank all that on the spot, THEN threw it away. but shaun was apparently all, "i told you to throw it away, not drink it!' that girl's mind is hers what. she wants to drink on the spot or throw it away is her own business. and anyway after drinking it she wldn't have brought it up to her class whatt. that stupid shaun is SO blinded by rules. i was SO PISSED OFF. and if he's such a perfect prefect, then why wasn't he chosen as head prefect? it's unfair to both him and zy, esp zy cause it shows that he was chosen only cause the teachers didn't want to show how much they like shaun. though that's just my crazy theory. not that i'm DEFENDING zy or anything. it's just that i'm so pissed off at shaun that i'd choose zy over shaun any day, if i HAD to choose.

however it was still a pretty depressing last day. but Amirah and Tasha gave me little gifts - Amirah gave me a nice keychain (the 2nd half off her gift, 1st half was a pair of Frixion ball pens. i've been wanting to get them!) and Tasha gave me a Kit-Kat and a POst-It flag pen. in black ink too! i LOVE black pens! :DD

all of them will be missed. SIGHHSSSS.

Friday Night - Some-Relative-I-Haven't-Even-Heard-Of-Once's Wedding

it was alright but still boring. i wore a black dress and high-heeled boots. luckily i did NOT fall in those boots. thy were 1-and-a-half inches high. but still. i'm a fairly clumsy person. i was totally cam-whoring. taking photos with my sis and aunt. i've started to like having my photo taken since i cut my hair. haha. i must be crazy.

kuan came over, since he had to work at my mum's clinic the next day. though we chatted quite a lot. guests are pretty cool, i swear.

Saturday

stayed at home, mostly. kuan was at work, then he went out to meet his friends. my sis went to meet her friends too. i went out to buy some snacks and drinks cause kuan was staying for another night. so when it was nighttime, after kuan n my sis came home, we were "partying". slept at one am. so tired lah!!!

Today

woke up at abt 9 for breakfast. we went to sembawang to eat bekfast, then we took a bus to Northpoint to buy groceries. afterwards we went back home and we were just slacking arnd till abt 230 when my sis and kuan left. my sis returned at abt 3 and cooked lunch (i'm hopeless in the kitchen, although i can whip up a pretty good sausage-egg-and-toast breakfast.). then i logged on to the comp and played some games and chatted on MSN. i'm playing this cool game called Court Intrigue. it can be found on the www.amaranthia.com site and going to Community- Village Square-> Homemade Games (FINISHED) -> Court Intrigue - it's finally here! it's a pretty fun RPG, although slightly buggy.

i went to the MTV website and entered a contest, in which i stand a chance to win a pair of tix to the My Chemical Romance The Black Parade concert. i am SO THRILLED. we might even get to meet-and-greet the band! it'll be so COOL! if not i hope we can go to the concert. i wanna see MCR!!! the tix is $75 but that's the sucky back-seats. so i'm hoping for the $85, or even better, $95 tickets where i might be able to MOSH! though it's the free standing area, so probably very crowded. :DD

Today was the unofficial last day of school. Tomorrow is THE last day, but it's just stupid, boring prize presentation., so I count today as the last day.

best memories of 6E included the Grad Night dance practices and our very own 6E project. So on the 6E class project: it was definitely fantastic with all of us doing the report, powerpoint and model. well. except for a few people but we were still a group.

making the model was deff the best part of the 6E project. so it was mainly Sarah, Ying Yi, Yun Ting, Wei Shi, Li Ying. Jaymond and me who helped in making the model. Can still remember how we were messing around on the first few days cause we were making jokes and laughing a lot while making the model. remember sarah saying some stuff that only girls should hear (sorry jay. btw i've taken to calling lotsa people by short-form names.).

the dance rocked. for the first day, because my mp3 sucked, we got delayed a bit. the boys were just fooling around (fat lot of help there, boys... *heavy sarcasm dripping from every word in HUGE, crystal-clear drops*). Li Ying and Sabrina choreographed the dance steps and sarah executed them perfectly over the next couple of days. the best dancers were the 3 of them and Jing Yi. the four of them RAWKED.

then in school we were practising like hell for the audition. then mrs Lee-Goy chanced upon us practising in the hall and helped us with the formation and the hand-holding part. Mrs Cha and Ms Asma gave us tips too, which improved our dance. thanks to them, our dance turned out great. thank you to all who helped and all the dancers. it was one of the best nights of my life.

so that concludes my little trip down memory lane. back to the real world. thank you to everyone who made my life in Northland - 1H, 2H, 3AA, 4AA, 5E and 6E (6E especially) - some of the best years of my life.

hello to all. yesterday Boyu came over and we were actually planning to dance but didnt. well, we danced but just a little.

so at first we met at Northpoint. i was rushing there after coming home from Toa Payoh with my famiy. then we wentto 7-Eleven to buy snacks. afterwards we went over to my place and we watched some videos, more specifically TAI TV (pronounced "T-A-I TV", not "tai tv" ). I LOVE TAI TV!!!

afterwards were were dancing a little to Do Somethin', Overprotected, Get Up and Show Me The Money. woohoo. was exhausting was fun.

on another completely unrelated note i realise that my Covenant story has been at a standstill for a LONG time. i might restart it soon. i'm starting on a few new projects. so watch this space! in fact i'm thinking of starting another blog, dedicated entirely to my new writing projects. have fun.

last night was SO the best night EVER. at the very least, FOR ME.

we performers arrived at school at about 3:30 pm for the rehearsal. but it was only at four that we actually HAD the rehearsal. seeing others dance was surreal. cause their dances were lively and everything. and there were 2 joke groups. the 1st group was pretty good but the 2nd one was kind of lame. plus there was this one solo singer who was... okay... at best... and there was a singing group that did Dirty Little Secret. they basically had ZERO stage presence. they didn't even REALLY perform it. the guitars and everything was so damn FAKE! though that's one sa-weet electric guitar. i might sing better. (jkjk :DD)

and there was this dance called Black and White by 6A and another class (can't remember which). it was pretty complicated and there was a minor mess-up at the end. then after that it was the solo singer, followed by the singing group. then it was this dance called You Can't Stop The Beat.

then it was time for OVERPROTECTED!!! :DD we actually did well, in my opinion :P except that i did one part a LITTLE too fast cause i was too busy hissing at aaron to get in line. luckily i managed to make up for it. i think. then at the end, we had to be in our ending poses till the emcees came on stage, talked a bit and announced, "DINNERTIME!", at which point we had to completely spaz out and yell "HOORAY!" which we didn't EXACTLY pull off. we then had to run offstage in embarrassment (well. not really. but it adds drama to the sentence).

then during dinnertime we changed into our retro outfits. i wore the green-and-black dress top, my jeans and my black pumps which i realised are excellent for running, dancing and spinning (during the dance). then i wore a black necklace which i bought just yesterday and the white hairband i bought at Far East.

afterwards we were having dinner when sbd sprayed peng seng (PSLE-E+WS! XDXDXD (inside 6E joke)) with sort-of hair dye, then sbd sprayed jiaming TOTALLY. dark pink hair looks absolutely good on him. XD

then afterwards there was te 2nd jokes group, then the game of the night. it involved a lot of cheating. haha. after that there was the dance Butterfly, then Pump It and That Thing You Do. That Thing You Do was performed by 6F, which won the Best Performace prize (like DUH! they are so good AND so damn cute! XDXDXD). though personally, i think that Nigel looked like a rotten banana, what with his yellow-orange dressing (yeah, ROTTEN BANANA).

after the 6F dance there was the prize presentation for Best Hairdo, Miss and Mr Retro, Best Performance and Young Lady and Gentleman awards, NOT IN THAT ORDER. KAI EN WON THE YOUNG LADY AWARD!!!all of us 6E-ians were screaming and applauding for her!!! she SOO deserves it. HUGGS :P

after that it was the dancing part. like MASS DANCE. teachers got up on stage to dance, along with some of the alumni. we then danced too, with sarah leading us. she's probably one of THE best dancers around. loves!!! :DD

i was super sad when it had to end. i loveee dancing, cause it's soooo fun. shall dance the next chance i get to do so. :DD

woohoo. just went to orchard with aneka. first we met in northpoint and then had lunch at BK in GV. then we boarded the MRT to orchard! we got out and walked A LOT trying to find Far East Plaza. discovered that we walked the wrong way and ended up at Plaza Singapura. so we went in and discovered just how overpriced everything was. so we took the train to orchard and walked the RIGHT WAY this time and went to Far East. went to Chameleon first and i bought a white hairband and green earrings for GN (grad night).

afterwards we went to Alano and saw some GREAT dresses n yops going for $10 n $8 respectively. aneka liked a particular shimmery top a LOT but didnt buy at first in case there were other tops arnd. so after some MORE walking around we found that the nice ones were all so EX, except for one rather cheap one but it was see-through. so we went back to Alano and aneka bought the shimmery top!

then we walked around trying to find this one shop that sells hard-rock tshirts. maybe i found the shop, maybe i didnt, but anyway it was tiring. we then went to buy Gelato ice cream. it's 99%/95% fat-free ice cream (99% for fruit flavours, 95% for milk-based). so it's actually a good thing. tiramisu flaour rocks. it has real tiramisu in it!!!

then we walked arnd a bit more and then went to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks and bought spicy chicken (for me) and sausage crepe (for Aneka). we then went to eat them and afterwards we took a few photos! :DD

after that we decided to go home cause there was nothing else to do. but we walked arnd to the 4th n 5th floors first before we went back to the MRT station to get home.

then AFTER i went home i went out at like 6.30??? or so to get a haircut. i had my hair layered and cut shorter. i think it looks nicer now. n cos my sis and i go to that hairdressers' sometimes, they know me. i went to cut my hair theree only 2 mths ago. here's a convo between th two hairdressers there:

HD1 (hairdresser one, the one doing my hair): Eh, she's that girl's younger sister right? Elaine's daughter?
HD2: Yah...
HD1: Wah, a lot of hair leh! (cos i DO hav a lot of hair)
HD2: Last time I cut her hair also a lot of hair!
HD1 (to me): Wah, girl, a lt of hair hor? don't scare me, later i cut all your hair!
Me: Errr... (mumbles) (can't even remember what i mumbled)

LOL. but now my head feels lighter , in a good way. WHEEE!!! :DD

wahh. went to eugene's place today.

went to J8 first. though i met up with them only later cause i had to have breakfast with my family first. so i met Boyu, Wei Qi, Zong Yao and Eugene at J8. we went to the arcade where i sponsored $20 for the games and spent $20 on the new Avenged Sevenfold album! :DD

then at about 1 we went to ET's house. where we played computer games and played volleyball! aaron and bryan came too. loved the volleyball part best. bring it on, people! we girls won a couple of times. i realised that i'm pretty ok at hitting long-distance. just okay la, neither good nor bad. i'm also ok at catching! HA to the boys who say i can't catch!!!

then we had dinner at eugene's place, though i went home right after dinner. parents called. :P would like to go there with the same group and have fun again. XD

well well well. i'm back from MALAYSIA!!! missed s'pore. sweet sweet s'pore. here's the diary, of sorts.

Day 1

assembled in school at 6am!!! we got on the bus only at, like 7 or so. then we headed for malaysia. we cleared immigration etc etc. then we headed towards Putrajaya. we went to Yong Peng first, then we headed to a restaurant for lunch. then during lunch i spilt water over xt by accident. XD it was kinda funny. but still. i did NOT mean it. then afterwards we headed to Putrajaya. it was so nice. there was a super nice lake. later on we headed towards KL. went arnd quite a lot la... dinnertime we stopped at Times Square. love Times Square. i love that place! then we checked in at Grand Bluewave Hotel. it was nice, but i didnt have a good sleep because of the chanting early in the morning. not that i hate religion, but i just couldn't sleep due to the noise.

Day 2

woke up at 6 plus today, though the morning call was at 7. we had a buffet breakfast. then we headed for Penang. we went to a limestone cave enroute to Penang. it was a temple built in the cave. i didn go up the steps. it was so wet and narrow. and knowing me, if i just mis-stepped... bye, i wouldn't be typing here. we also went for lunch. during lunch, xt spilt soup on jm. HA. afterwards we headed for Penang on the Penang bridge, very nice sea view. we walked arnd penang then, churches, etc and Fort Cornwallis. then we had dinner at the top of Komtar. later on we checked into Sunway Hotel and that was that.

Day 3

today we went around penang for the entire day. we went to Kek Lok Si Temple but couldnt go to the pagoda since one entrance was closed and the other had ppl charging 2 ringgit per entry. then we went SHOPPING!!! i bought keychains, a wooden cobra and a t-shirt. afterwards we went to a couple of temples and then a tropcal fruit farm. it was way high. i might have fallen off, due to my phobia of heights. then afterwards we were walking around and then we went to Gurney Mall for some shopping, though i didnt really buy anything. then we had dinner at a malay restaurant, after which we went back to the hotel to rest for the night.

Day 4

something happened this morning, although i'm not at liberty to discuss it. it involved three boys in 6E. anyway we went to Malacca today after leaving the hotel. spent MANY hours in the bus because Penang is faaar from Malacca. we went to the Portuguese Square and shopped a bit. there was also a fountain that i think is dedicated to Victoria Regina. haha. Regina is Latin for "Queen", so there. =)) we went to the Stadthuys, A' Farmosa, St Francis Xavier Church, temples, Bukit China, and the King's Well. it was such an amazing experience. then we had dinner and then we went to Jonkers Street ad shopped at the bazaar. my fave buy at the bazaar was a mini guitar model. i LOVE it. might as well buy a small model version if i can't get a real one. =DD loved Jonkers Street. and i had a name keychain made, made of bent wire. then afterwards we checked in at Everly Resort, the BEST hotel out of the three we stayed in!!! it was WAY amazing. it was a condo and i stayed with all the 6E girls. shiya and liying traded rooms, so now my roomies were Juliana and Shi Ya. we three got the worse room. we had to use the bathroom all the way at the guest area. but we had a great time chatting. love 'em. great friends.

Day 5

THE last day! we went to a Baba Nyonya Museum. i loved it. love museums. then we got our keychains. it's NICE! then we had lunch at a restaurant, after which we headed back to singapore but not before we stopped at a shop selling Malacca specialties, where i bought dodol, type of cake. took such a LONG time to go back to Singapore. oh well. we got back HOME! no place like home!

dancing to Overprotected and now we're probably over-listening, sort-of-over-practising and over-hand holding (really pity the guys' future girlfriends siah. when they hold hands... ick. SWEATY PALMS. if they end up straight la.). but it's actually quite fun.

i reckon i've improved but today we had a new formation and moves. it isn't SO bad when the guys wipe their hands. somebody tell me if there's a brand of anti-perspirants for hands. i'd willingly sponsor a bottle each per guy. unless overly expensive. in that case... must make do with what we have.

going to malaysia on tues. can't wait. my room-mates are Liying and Juliana. can't wait to have girl talks with 'em. it'd probably be pretty fun. :DD

went shopping today with nadia, felicia and jiahong! sort of la. it was very fun. first we went to Clarke Quay to go to Settlers Cafe, a board games cafe. but when we arrived it was alr fully booked. then we decided to go to another nearby BGC (board games cafe). but we walked arnd and cldnt find it, so we continued walking arnd to fimd the MRT station cause we were LOST. then we realised we had walked all the way from Clarke Quay to Raffles Place! we managed to get to the Raffles Place mrt station. from there we took the train to Orchard and went to Wisma Atria, then walked to Taka. then we sat down at the macs in taka and had ice cream and fries. jiahong left cause she had to be home early. then we went to the department store to buy notebooks. but we didnt buy anyway. then afterwards i went to the restroom and when i came out, my shoe broke while i was walking!!! so we were on a mission to buy shoes! NADIA AND FELICIA ROCK! they are so nice. love 'em, and i love all my good friends. they went with me to buy shoes.haha. after some time we realised the shoes were either too ex, or too adult-ey.

then we went to AMK Hub to buy shoes. after some time nads had to go, and so felicia and i continued on our "mission". finally we got to a shop that sold nice flat sandals and high heels. since they were on offer (2 pairs for $16!), felicia and i bought one pair of flat sandals each. i ike my new flat sandals. pretty nice. although i can't dance in 'em. might get a new pair sometime soon. HAR.

had dance practice yesterday. it was pretty fun. practising like there was no tomorrow (which is actually half-true cause we don't have any more practices until further notice). and there were chair stunts. the guys were jumping over stacks of chairs. sarah tried and her record was seven chairs. jm's record was only six. SARAH PWNED JIAMING! and he deserved it. HA! but the record holder is obviously the "kangaroo" (so called for his kangaroo-ish running...), zongyao, who jumped over 7 chairs, but higher than sarah. maybe he could jump over 8 chairs. ha. jaymond jumped over six and seven chairs i think.

then when all the boys except jaymond and aaron left, we finally got the formation. i'm at the back. sigh. but at least i get to dance. and cause it was raining earlier, there was mist on the doors and we wrote "jaymond" as "gaymond". XD

i hope we have more practices. must be as perfect as i can be. even though i suck at dancing.

but it is fun, quite. but the guys kind of suck. they keep fooling arnd. sigh. some of them DO NOT DESERVE to be in the group. just playing n doing nth else. even when they mimic us girls dancing they make it look stupid. sigh. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE IN THE GROUP???

went to causeway point today. it was enjoyable but zy was the only boy, so kinda sad for him. remind me to actually FORCE guys to come so ppl won't be lonely. lol. first we went to buy tickets but found out that the snackbar/ticketing counter was not open yet. so we went down to walk around. i bought the Avenged Sevenfold All Excess DVD!!! and i paid $10 for the Britney Spears cd that sarah bought. it's for dance practice. (blah) then afterwards we just walked around until 12 plus. THEN the snackbar was open! we bought the tix and had lunch.

then we went to watch Balls of Fury. so funny la! the ping pong games were interesting. Feng was sooo weird. master wong and his niece were like damn li hai, but master wong was very funny. like: "A good ping-pong player should always be aware of his surroundings," or sth ike that and then he goes and falls into this gate or sth. XD

after that we went to take neoprints. but ppl kept coming and going so it was annoying. zy didnt take with us. how can he, with so many us girls? but anyway we girls took some eventually. i look weird in them but still.

these couple of days have been fairly interesting. i'm writing for the year end magazine. HOW TO WRITE???!!! anyways it's soooo relaxed in class. we can talk and laugh and stuff. XD

we took photos for the YEM (year-end magazine) today. it wasn't so bad, save for the class photos which were taken in yishun park, because of the &%^^&*&!$ ants and the $@^*&*^*#! mosquitoes (just random strings of illegible profanities that have no meaning whatsover). i HATE them.

just as my left arm recovered from the mosquito bites, my right arm got attacked. i hate EQUALITY sometimes. and ants got onto and into my shoes. eeeeekkk. and i swear i saw HUGE ants. i'm gonna bring insecticide the next time i go to/near yishun park and commit mass insect-homicide.

found out the theme for grad night. retro. no WONDER my sis said she'd take me shopping. and i SO did NOT try to find out abt grad night while my sis was doing it. i mean, it's NOT MY FAULT THAT I LEAVE MY HOMEWORK ON THE COMPUTER TABLE!!!

ARGH! WHAT IF I FAIL PSLE???!!!

i'm dead la. dead dead dead. D-E-A-D!!! i can't do the 'delayed gratification' thing. though i realise i study a LOT better with music. by music i mean the likes of Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold etc.

i dunno why this happens. so weird la, please. but i regard music as one of the most important things. EVER. even if i don't listen to music using my mp3 or on the comp, it's like i have an mp3 in my head. like there's almost always a song playing in my head. however this 'mp3' changes with the time of the day or my mood. like yesterday. in the morning before recess Paperthin Hymn by Anberlin was going around in my head. during mt lesson, after recess the song changed to Second Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold. then after that it became Face Down by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. then after lunch it became My Heart Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon by Fall Out Boy. the songs don't change according to mood so much these days. somehow i turn totally HYPER when exams roll around. it's like the stress doesn't really get to me. hahhs. i have hereby declared PSLE week as Positive Thinking Week. 'cause if you do so, the stress won't affect you negatively and you can focus better and thus do your work better! *grin*

i also can't wait for all the fun stuff come the end of PSLE. i've got a sleepover party, a movie marathon, a couple class parties, best-friends-outings and the GRAD NIGHT*! so must STUDY HARD and prepare for all these parties and outings!!!

*i HOPE it's fun. i mean, my sister's on the alumni exco and she and a couple others are in charge of the whole GN. she said she'd take me shopping. sounds OMINOUS. -.-

i went to the fall out boy website and found out that the video for I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me and You) is up. it's a really nice, touching video. and the message at the end is also a strong one. fall out boy is the most humanitarian band i've ever known. this video almost made me cry (but then again, my eyes were dry...). the video fits the song somehow. it's the sweetest, most touching, most inspiring video i've ever watched. think of all these kids in the video and know how fortunate you are (getting preachy, but hell) and enjoy.

changed the blog pic! 1st liric from False Pretense by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, on the album Don't You Fake It. 2nd lyric from Dead on Arrival by Fall Out Boy, on the album Take This To Your Grave. 3rd lyric from Clairvoyant Disease by Avenged Sevenfold, on the album Waking The Fallen. 4th lyric from Demolition Lovers by My Chemical Romance, on the album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. they're all great songs.

False Pretense has something about betrayal (to me) and it's a nice, catchy song. i like the clapping bit and the guitars. SO NICE! RJA is now one of my top ten fave bands. Dead on Arrival is the first single from Take This To Your Grave. it's such an amazing song. it describes the band's feelings back in those days when they were just starting out. and patrick's vocals shine as always. Clairvoyant Disease is one of the A7X songs i don't really understand, though i think it has lines of regret in it. it's a dark song, but it's amazing, and the solo is great too. Demolition Lovers is a violent song of sorts, with good guitarwork and drumming. and halfway through the song it pauses. then starts up again with a soft guitar tune(i think) and then the other intruments, though drum stands out, beating out this nice beat. then the song picks up its pace with the singing and stuff.

i LOVE all these songs. so keep on rocking and good luck for tomorrow's LC!!!

i've got stuff to post. 3 things to say. should be fairly interesting.

i got back report book today. my results are:

Eng: 89 (highest =] )
Maths: 92 (A*)
Chi: 78(A. bleh. succks)
Sci: 82 (A. sucks too.)
HMT: 70 (Merit. jumped a lot. good news lor.)

so i'm happiest for eng and hmt results. cos eng highest and hmt i improved a lot. so yeahs.

the other thing is weird. I GOT LOCKED OUT OF MY HOUSE TODAY. sort of. so i missed the schoolbus and so i went home on public bus. then when i reached the door, i rang doorbell and banged the door for like 5 mins. then i realised i was locked out. i don't bring keys with me la... then i tried again, which was obviously a futile attempt. lol. 5 mins later my aunty (maid) came home. lol. IT WAS SO HOT OUTSIDE LA. then my bags super heavy!!!

next, i changed the featured song. now it's Thriller by Fall Out Boy. super nice song. take a listen! i can lend my cd if you wanna. after psle only. ;)

ok, so there's something... important that i need to tell all of you just so that i don't get too many awkward questions.

so the thing is, i'm wearing a spinal brace due to this spine problem that i have. so when i sit or stand or whatever, my back will be incredibly straight. and i'll look weird, of course. it itches like hell, and i can't scratch wherever it itches. lol. and it's a bit heavyish and it's also very warm. so that basically sucks. i get not to wear it for 4hrs every day. that's some relief. the good things are:

1) i only have to wear it till my spine's ok! if it's before i'm 16, YAY.
2) i can slim down a bit.
3) i get to LITERALLY kick people's asses if they dare make fun of me too much.

so for anyone who wants to tease me of the brace, guys and girls alike, watch out. i don't want pity from anyone, and if you actually want to make fun of me but instead give me those 'oh so poor thing' speeches, watch out. and as for the guys... i suppose i can kick them where the sun don't shine. :)

hellos. i watched she's the man just now. on youtube la. it was damn funny la. i loved it. i watched cos even though it will be showing on star movies, it's at ten. then i can't stay up till, like, 12 to watch right? there's supp tomorrow. half dreading it... have to see some idiots (you know who...) but it's always nice to see friends during the holidays.

after psle i'm hoping for tons of fun activities and a couple of 6E parties. it'll be SO COOL. for parties i can totally be the music director or whatever the person in charge of music is called. though that'll mean i have to source for songs that the girls will like more than guy-songs, like rock songs and stuff. but my sis has a library of pop songs, so there. haha. redid the wishlist section (the wicked end) too.

Higher MT: 41/60 (40.5 lor. SIGH. LOUSY! but i beat two of the 3Rs. YEAHS!)

so sci another day lor. anyways today was aces day. kinda lame la.. the crazy frog song was sh*t. to me anyway. i hated it la. why don't the teachers choose something less annoying?! BLEH. then today also lots of ex-northlanders came back. the problem was, right, during lunch we almost nowhere to sit cos the ex-northlanders just anyhow choose a seat la. then even if tere're seats the bench was pushed so far out that some ppl had to walk on the bench la.

my jie also came lor. she was ok la. she just made me take stuff back for her. actually is just one LIME magazine. hahhs. THERE'S AN AVENGED SEVENFOLD INTERVIEW IN THERE!!! i nearly screamed. but i know i shrieked at least. hahhs. but LIME interviewed only M. Shadows, Johnny Christ and The Rev. nothing from Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance. wonder where they were during the interview? but they're amazing. hah. :)

HI PEOPLE, I AM BACK!!!!!

haven't got my results back yet. today prelims ended!!! but the class was CHAOS, no thanks to the infamous 3Rs. HP and one of the Rs were having a face-off of sorts. kinda funny, lol.

i watched 2 vids on youtube: syn's solo and avenged sevenfold playing their new song Almost Easy during SINGfest. IT WAS AMAZING!!! i'm getting used to seeing syn's new look. lol. i can't wait for their new album to come out. shall search every cd shop i pass by from oct 16 onwards! lol.

i managed to get my copy of Infinity On High only a month after it came out, at least in the US and UK. i couldnt find it lah, at first. but a month later, luck was on my side. i still like IOH best. it's an amazing cd. and on lead guitarists' hair, we FOB fans are still waiting for joe's hair to block out the sun. :)

during teachers' day celebration concert, the last item used Thnks Fr Th Mmrs! i just abt went crazy. I WAS SO HAPPY THEY PLAYED THNKS FR TH MMRS!!! =)

today was national day celebration. it was quite fun la. this is the first time i can remember that i'm singing so loudly. hahhs. i just went CRAZY singing. or maybe not crazy. but still reasonably well.

then we went to the classroom to do the song/rap composing. we did a song to the tune of Chasing Cars. it's three-verse, first one is the first chorus ("If I lay here/If I just lay here/Would you lie with me and just forget the world"), second is d second chorus ("If I lay here/If I just lay here/Would you lie with me and just forget the world/Forget what we were told/Before we get too old/Show me a garden that's bursting into life") and third is first chorus again. we changed the lyrics and kept the tune. haha. it was DAMN FUN. i love songwriting and all that. hope can do that again. =D

after that we did maths pp. siiighs. i hope i did better this time around. if not... well, welcome to the black parade. get the hint? black parade to me sorta signifies the funeral, 'cause it's kinda like a parade in a way, know what i mean? i tend to have rather weird interpretations of songs.

we had oral today. it was... alright, i suppose. however i though i messed up bad during the picture discussions. picture discussions have always been my weakest point in oral. sighs.

i came home in a not-too-hyper mood. but i destressed watching a few videos from the Avenged Sevenfold All Excess DVD. i swear, Syn is WAY funny when he's wasted (drunk), and so is the Rev. A7X brightens my day, though FOB is the BEST! i'm gonna try out Sugar We're Going Down on bass, on my regular guitar. i've got the bass tab printed out and all.

oh yeah. Syn cut his hair! it now looks... funny. kind of. i'm not so used to it. but over time i will. Syn's always fabulous. although i was all, "What... The... F**k!"i tend to react strongly in such cases. i mean, if, say, Joe decided to dye his hair now or if Patrick shaved off his sideburns, it'd be shocking to me. FYI, they are both from Fall Out Boy, Joe and Patrick. but i'd still love 'em, 'cause they're so great. mainly it's the looks (well, HAIR) that surprises me, but yeah. fall out boy will always be superb and so will avenged sevenfold! ^^

heh. never blog for so LONG. 1 week plus alr. not to mention, a week closer to the exams. scary thought.

on monday we had napfa 5 items. i did OK. now hoping for the best in 1.6 run. tuesday nothing interesting, same for wed and thurs. i think. my memory is kinda bad these days. that, or i'm just way too bored.

but friday was diff. i did poorly for my maths test and PE lesson positively SUCKED. whoever liked it is definitely demented. so at first i thought maybe not so bad, but after that d teacher (we changed to another teacher) decided to make us sit down and give a ten to fifteen minute lecture. and apparently speaking to oneself is a crime. i got scolded. what IDIOCY. not to mention, my day got positively worse. the guys broke this keychain thing on my pencilbox and they were LAUGHING about it, plus they threw my book around. *ssh*l*s. who do they think they are? and, no offence to prefects, none of the prefects tried to intervene when the guys were making so much damn noise and wreaking some havoc. not even the HP. the 3Rs (Three Roaches) of 6E were the worst. even ppl like Nigel, Eugene and Ben are better than the three, or at least one or two of the three. unfortunately they are in the next class.

the teacher is hateful, and so are the 3Rs. hm. to everyone out there who thinks i still like **, here's one of my fav lyrics: "Hate is a strong word, but I really, really don't like you." if you don't get the drift... you're abnormal, i swear you are.

applaud for applause! XD lame la, but whatever.

watched APPLAUSE tonight. it was good, not bad at all. however the storyline was rather predictable (everyone sorta gets separated, then reunites again, then talk abt how much they love home.) and the so-called "Rock and Roll Dancing" part. i mean... these teachers have obviously NEVER listened to stuff like Fall Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, and not even the old Avril Lavigne (there actually WAS the rock vibe in her older songs). the song was, very obviously, country or techno, or a mix of both. they COULD have used sth like 'Dance, Dance', at least, even if it DOES have certain 'adult' undertones in about three lines of lyrics. but that's it! however, i digress.

the good parts included the beginning of the second part of the show. it was a funny start, really. and the finale was good, i thought. some scenes were also acted out well enough, while a few parts were kinda lame. and the whole 'Travel Machine' thing reminded me disturbingly of the Portkey in the Harry Potter universe. i mean, touching the item, counting to three and spinning around and finally falling down to the destination? rings a VERY loud bell.

but overall, it was an all-around good show, with performers who are not half bad. but i say, the acting can be improved.

P.S.: i had hoped the guys had poor fashion sense. they weren't as bad as i thought. but yeah, they were not as good as us :P

admittedly. i watched Harry Potter yesterday. it was really great! i like the Ministry fight scene, all of it! esp the ending of that scene. hint: flashbacks! it's so nice. but the story was edited considerably. for example, the way harry and cho 'broke up'. won't say HOW, but it wasn't the way i expected. but it also had some very funny scenes! for example, the putting up of all the educational decrees. XD

but sigh. ystd we 6E-ians got scolded by mrs cha. sigh. i won't say what we were scolded for, since i feel it's a strictly 6E thing. sure, ppl would have known we got scolded, but they don't really know why, save for some people cos we told them. it's embarrassing and stupid. our fault, really.

I'M SO HAPPY!!! I caught Fall Out Boy on Live Earth at LAST. they played two (!!!) songs only though. this is what they played:

yeah. that's about it. joe looked kind of hungover and he didn't do a Trohmania. pete did, though. sort of. joe had a real cool guitar though - the guitar body is white, with 'blood splats' on it. looked WAY cool. zacky v also has a similar guitar, but there's less 'blood'. but sadly, the crowd was DEAD. they weren't moshing much. oh wells. i hope FOB comes to s'pore again, hopefully in nov/dec! then i can watch 'em!!! =]=]=]=]=]=]=]=]=]

latest on the HP5 movie: sarah, yingyi, sherry, yunting, weishi, madeleine, shiya and i will be watching HP5 together. actually we were sorta supposed to merge, but in the end we didn't. oh well. at least, we won't have any guys trying to steal our popcorn after they miraculously finish theirs. i'm not actually naming anyone though. so there. haha.

i'll be getting my t-shirts probably on saturday. i can't wait. lol. i wonder how they look like. and i hope the size is right. not too big or too small. if it is... oh well. either look like a baggy-clothes wannabe or a skinny-model-ish wannabe. either way, i'd be a wannabe. hope i get a good fit. a little bigger's ok, since i'll probably wear it for the foreseeable future.

ahas. i FINALLY updated For Better Or Worse with chapter 14. and i'll be writing a harry potter story soon. i realised that i'm best at writing emotional, drama-romance stories, with the occasional sarcastic humour (and generally some humour). haha. it'll be a H/Hr story of course, i'm a HUGE supporter of H/Hr, also known as the Harmony Ship or Pumpkin Pie. dunno where these titles came from.

i can't wait to watch OotP. it's the acronym for HP5, Order of the Phoenix. i'll be watching with a group of friends. as for the guys, i suppose one can call them acquaintances. but still, it'll be FUN! if i get my FOB and A7X t-shirts by then, i think i'll wear my A7X one first. if not for Applause, i'd wear the FOB one first, honestly. i think we'll be going after school, 13 july. yeps, fri the 13th. XD

by the way, i'm thinking of starting a study group. whoever wants to join can. it's like we're giving each other tuition. hopefully will have at least one of each person who is strong in each subject. like one for eng, one for maths, one for sci, one for chi. at least. so minimum four. and those who are average in all subjects also can. as long as the number is not too large, can join. we have to find a place to study, possibly study area at school or sbd's house, and it'll be on wed or thurs. so whoever wants to start study group with me, tell me! hope to get a number of responses. =]

sobsob. we kinda messed up for the oral presentation today. sigh. pretty much my fault. should have told the guys to summarise everything and HOW to do it. we had about eight or so slides left to present when it was time up. SO SAD!!!

bleh. haven't blogged for about a week. hold on, it IS one week.

well. school reopening sucks. sort of. homework is horrible. SIGH. but project work is SO fun!!! too bad it'll end soon. sarah, yingyi, weishi and yunting are some of the best group members ever. the others are great too. sarah and yingyi are the best! haha. feel so sisterly.

can't wait for SATURDAY~! going to stnics. a Tea With Principal thing. all us girls are going together. i'm so excited. i want to go to stnics after p6! i've seen their performances and stuff, the camaraderie among them is really great. makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, in a manner of speaking.

very late huhs? anyway i changed the songlist to a playlist of favourite songs and the songs featured on the headings (yes, these ARE the titles of songs. i wasn't born poetic, you know.). currently 6 FOB songs and 7 A7X songs. hehhs. i'm gonna find 7 Minutes In Heaven and add it. the seventh track will then by 7 Minutes In Heaven! although, the current seventh track is by Avenged Sevenfold. lol. wordplay!!! take note, though, if you really can't stand hardcore guitars, drumming and/or screaming - trademarks of A7X songs. but Seize The Day is a rather soft one, in comparison to the rest. Bat Country too. FOB is generally more easy on the ears for those who prefer stuff like alternative rock. but if you're a rock fan, i'd find it likely that you'll enjoy all the songs. even metal fans will find something they like - A7X's older stuff. so yeah. a playlist suited for rock music enthusiasts. i THINK. i mean, my cousin, his band, his friends and i all like this stuff...

hello hello. surprised to see the change of blogskin? it's a HUGE revamp. from black to blue. the pic is a sort of colourized one. the lines "messed up youthful innocence" and "a far cry from innocence" are from a FOB and A7X song respectively. "messed up youthful innocence" comes from the song Saturday, while "a far cry from innocence" is from Beast and the Harlot. the second line is also the name for a Syn fanclub. hah.

so how's the new look? enjoy it? ha. i'll do a more 'pro' one one day, oh yes, one day...

added a new section today. the CALENDAR section. there i put in some significant dates. mostly insignificant for you guys but important for me. a little like a planner for shopping trips and stuff. :P

and i found out how to colourize my pics using Paint.NET!!! it's great. dunno how to explain... always see those pictures that are like one colour in many shades, but not covering the pic, and pics that are, like, rainbow-ish? i'll put up my colourized pics another time. next time i'm gonna learn how to properly blend my pics. ^^

new vid. another A7X one. it's Syn and Zacky giving a guitar lesson of sorts on Bat Country. if you can't recognize them already, the one on the left (our left) is Zacky and the one on the right is Syn.

btw there are some funny parts. at 4:58 (time left), Syn's making extra sounds on his guitar (maybe tuning) and Zacky's giving him a "Wtf is THAT?" look. then at 2:38 (time left), Syn messes up (although the proper term would be "f***ed up") and he looks up grinning, as though wondering if anyone noticed. and see when Syn is looking up and trying not to smile. haha. enjoy.

HIHI. went out with sarah today. well, i didn't get my fingerless gloves T.T but i bought five guitar picks, a new necklace, a new wallet and Fathers' Day gift. realised that i already have quite a number of black t-shirts, so decided against buying.

first the guitar picks: i bought a thin part-translucent part-opaque one that looks all 'firey', a plain black one, both sporting the Fender logo (a brand of guitars, FYI), and three on a thin chain-ish thing that you can hang somewhere. kewl. the chain ones are translucent, one blue, one pink, one yellow. so nice.

secondly the Fathers' Day gift. a set of 3 handkerchiefs. at $9! this Italy brand...

third, my necklace! it's soooo nice. it has that black cord thing for the chain, and the charm (at least, i think that's what it's called. you know, that dangly thing that makes a necklace a necklace?) is a bat-winged heart. reminds me strongly of the Bartskull and Deathbat. on top of the bat-winged heart, there's a little crown too. nice!!!

then finally the wallet. after debating about whether to buy or not (and the saleslady was very nice and patient). the ones on display for $20, and originally i didn't want to buy. then turned out got $16 one. i bought it! it's black, with a little gold-and-silver butterfly at the bottom of the front. so nice!

lol. i changed to a new link. fallout-sevenfold refers to fall out boy and avenged sevenfold. haha. this can also have anoter meaning.

a fallout is a quarrel with someone where, after that, you stop interacting with the person (or at least stop talking) until someone says sorry. and sevenfold is seven times (either seven TIMES, or seven times as in 7 x n (seven times number)). seven is believed to be the most 'powerful' number. so falling out with a person seven times is the worst. some philosophical crap like that.
