so i went to collect money from those gng to the chalet today. but yingyi was in taiwan so i couldn't collect from her. then rongfang was sick and yanli was penniless. then JIAHUI, VARUN and JIAMING did not show up!!!

I NEED TO COLLECT THE MONEY THEY OWE ME!!! GROWL. MUST ORGANISE ANOTHER OUTING TO COLLECT MONEY!!! or else we'll be short of chalet funds.

tasha arrived abt 20-30 mins late. then later I WAS THE TREASURER. blahh. after tt we went to e arcade. watched sarah and yunting play that table-hockey game. you know, use tat thing to hit the disc across the table to shoot it into e other person's goalpost. then sarah and liying played. haha. they played good games.

afterwards yunting, shiya and i went to Mini toons and bought candy. wahaha. candy ishh nicehh! yunting bought a LOT of marshmallows leh. then we headed to kfc for lunch. we bought the buddy meal. SO MUCH LEH. of course... we couldnt finish it. haha.

after that we headed home. so in all it was a pretty good day.

by the way, since i cldnt find anyone to help us book, i asked jiaxuan to ask his sis to help us. then he was like, very troublesome. then i was so pissed i chased him into popular and then out. after that in the arcade, i chased him a bit before giving up because i was wearing slippers. if i ran on smooth ground wearing them, i'd fall flat on my face.

then at home, on msn, i bugged him like hell. he FINALLY relented. HA! the power of persuasion. i wield it well.

so... the No Naked Lights videos. it's Kuan's side project (No Naked Lights). while the lead singer doesn't sing very well. i think the rest of the band is good. Balqios is a good band. SUPPORT LOCAL TALENT! so i'm gonna update my favourites list to include Balqios too! though i'm mainly in this for Kuan, who's like an elder bro to me. but the whole band is great as a whole... if there're any balqios vids i'll post em. seeya!

i'm sick. sick sick sick sick SICK. my head fills like it's gonna BURST from the headache. but then again it might be an after-effect of sleeping on the sofa. normally i DON'T sleep on the sofa, but the first time i did, which was a couple days ago, my DAD was sleeping in my room. feeling incredibly wasted, i crashed on the sofa. woke up with bad hair, a bad headache and a sore neck, in order of badness (worst last). today kuan was sleeping in my room. so i crashed on the sofa once again. my hair wasn't so messed up.

you know, ever since i cut my hair, it doesn't mess up as easily as it would pre-haircut after sleeping!!! in the past it'd be a total tangled mess at the back. now it's just a little flyaway-ish, which is very easily fixed (simply comb through with your fingers a couple of times!)!!! the benefits of having shorter (and better-looking-when-let-down) hair! the only bad part is when it's tied up. some hair falls out of the ponytail and some hair sticks out. eep.

why am i talking about hair? i must be delusional, bored, etc. goodbye. till i blog again.

PS: anyone played the game Eudemons Online before? it's my latest computer-games craze.

to update on what i did yesterday! came home super late last night (technically, it was this morning as it was after 12 midnight) so i couldn't use the comp.

i went for a family lunch at AMK Hub. but i ate very little since i had my breakfast just a couple hours eariler. afterwards my sis and i went to kuan's house after, like, 1 and a half months! we saw geok han (also my cousin. she's kuan's elder sister) watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose, which is actually a good movie. it was kinda scary sometimes but i all it was relly nice. i applaud the actress. acting out those scenes must have been very difficult.

after that, we (my sis, geok han and i) set off for Bugis cos kuan and his band (BALQIOS) was playing a gig at Red Bar in Bugis (no age limit la). then we were taking mrt to bugis and waited for gh's friend. after she came we walked to Bugis Village and met kuan, who took us to Red Bar.

i'm never gonna go there again. why? because the atmosphere was.... blah. it was NOISE, not MUSIC. you will NOT believe just how much screaming there was. by screaming i mean something like heavy metal sons, where there's usually screaming (like A7X. listen to one of the older A7X songs and you'll know what i mean). when we first went in this band was playing Secon Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold. i think this band or the next one spoiled the amp. so ppl had to go fix it. anyways it was just three or four metal bands, one after another, doing TONS of screaming. but the band that came before kuan played another two A7X songs: Chapter Four and Unholy Confessions. they were better than Second Heartbeat. other than that it was just EXTREMELY noisy. and above the stage there were lights, with this one white light that kept flashihng SUPER QUICKLY such that when you move, things look like they're fast-forwarded. not to mention, they make your eyes hurt.

anyway i cheered when BALQIOS came up, although not too loudly since i was STILL having a cough. they played The Great Escape first, followed by Face Down, then Your Guardian Angel and finally How Far We've Come, by Boys Like Girls, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, TRJA again and Matchbox Twenty, respectively. i loved The Great Escape and How Far We've Come best. they were great! actually kuan can sing pretty well. i mean, you know, it's not so bad. it was the first time i saw him perform and i thought it was good. he played at Northland once, you know. during last year's Alumni Night. BALQIOS has gone on to play more shows since then. which is great. personally i think BALQIOS was the "softest" band, since they didn't have a single heavy metal song in the line-up. maybe i'm terribly biased, but i liked BALQIOS best.

after that we had dinner at QQ Noodle and then we went to Bugis Street to buy some snacks. we then went back to kuan's house, with kuan. we also met the drummer. he was pretty nice. so after we alighted at AMK mrt station we rented some DVDs - Stomp The Yard and Step Up. we watched Stomp The Yard first. it's a gret movie. and the dance moves were GREAT. it's called stepping, and it's really pretty good.

after watching the show we went back home. kuan came with us since he's working today, at the clinic where my mum works too. so yeah. that's about it. :)

the week's news. haha. i'm being very inactive in blogging. ehehe

Monday -> Escape Theme Park

so i went to Escape with Bo Yu, Ying Yi, Li Ying, Yan Li and Zong Yao (btw, notice how all their names have a Y in them? my name doesn't!). so i didn't take many rides... just the family coaster, twice. i really wanted to go to Wet n' Wild but the queue was far too long. well. it was okay la... cant remember much. my memory sucks. haha. wish i had a photographic memory.

Tuesday -> Sick

title says it all. i was SOOO sick. ugh. still am, but a little better.

Wednesday -> Class Party

it was fun until the ice war started. thank you, sarah and jiaming. i went outside to escape the MADNESS. sat on the swing thing with Juliana and Yun Ting. afterwards i went back but it wa still ultra boring, till i could play cards with some of tem, like Tasha, Amirah and Diyana. ahhh. i always LOST. hahaha. well. but i spent a lot of time chatting with Juliana and Shi Ya while sitting on the swing. it was very fun, really. talking with besties is so relaxing. love em all. haha. it wasn't MUCH of a success (the class party). hoping for better results with the class chalet!

Thursday -> Results Day

uhhm. so i went to sch, HYPER NERVOUS. so i was waiting with sarah and the rest, till they showed the slideshow with the results and everything. i was so happy when i found out i had 3 A*s with a score of 258! and Mdm Moliah said we were compulsory members of e alumni! :DD

hellos. updating the events of the past few days, in case anyone thought i was abducted by aliens.

Friday Morning - Boring-Beyond-Boring Prize Presentation

one word - BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyways it was just going up on stage, then getting d prize, THEN gong down. BORING. but one thing that pissed me off utterly was how shaun so won the Most Outstanding Pupil Of The Year. the teachers have NO idea how much we hate him. he's bossy and arrogant. i heard one time he stopped a girl who was carrying a bottle of soft drink from gg up to her class, then he told her to throw it away but she drank all that on the spot, THEN threw it away. but shaun was apparently all, "i told you to throw it away, not drink it!' that girl's mind is hers what. she wants to drink on the spot or throw it away is her own business. and anyway after drinking it she wldn't have brought it up to her class whatt. that stupid shaun is SO blinded by rules. i was SO PISSED OFF. and if he's such a perfect prefect, then why wasn't he chosen as head prefect? it's unfair to both him and zy, esp zy cause it shows that he was chosen only cause the teachers didn't want to show how much they like shaun. though that's just my crazy theory. not that i'm DEFENDING zy or anything. it's just that i'm so pissed off at shaun that i'd choose zy over shaun any day, if i HAD to choose.

however it was still a pretty depressing last day. but Amirah and Tasha gave me little gifts - Amirah gave me a nice keychain (the 2nd half off her gift, 1st half was a pair of Frixion ball pens. i've been wanting to get them!) and Tasha gave me a Kit-Kat and a POst-It flag pen. in black ink too! i LOVE black pens! :DD

all of them will be missed. SIGHHSSSS.

Friday Night - Some-Relative-I-Haven't-Even-Heard-Of-Once's Wedding

it was alright but still boring. i wore a black dress and high-heeled boots. luckily i did NOT fall in those boots. thy were 1-and-a-half inches high. but still. i'm a fairly clumsy person. i was totally cam-whoring. taking photos with my sis and aunt. i've started to like having my photo taken since i cut my hair. haha. i must be crazy.

kuan came over, since he had to work at my mum's clinic the next day. though we chatted quite a lot. guests are pretty cool, i swear.

Saturday

stayed at home, mostly. kuan was at work, then he went out to meet his friends. my sis went to meet her friends too. i went out to buy some snacks and drinks cause kuan was staying for another night. so when it was nighttime, after kuan n my sis came home, we were "partying". slept at one am. so tired lah!!!

Today

woke up at abt 9 for breakfast. we went to sembawang to eat bekfast, then we took a bus to Northpoint to buy groceries. afterwards we went back home and we were just slacking arnd till abt 230 when my sis and kuan left. my sis returned at abt 3 and cooked lunch (i'm hopeless in the kitchen, although i can whip up a pretty good sausage-egg-and-toast breakfast.). then i logged on to the comp and played some games and chatted on MSN. i'm playing this cool game called Court Intrigue. it can be found on the www.amaranthia.com site and going to Community- Village Square-> Homemade Games (FINISHED) -> Court Intrigue - it's finally here! it's a pretty fun RPG, although slightly buggy.

i went to the MTV website and entered a contest, in which i stand a chance to win a pair of tix to the My Chemical Romance The Black Parade concert. i am SO THRILLED. we might even get to meet-and-greet the band! it'll be so COOL! if not i hope we can go to the concert. i wanna see MCR!!! the tix is $75 but that's the sucky back-seats. so i'm hoping for the $85, or even better, $95 tickets where i might be able to MOSH! though it's the free standing area, so probably very crowded. :DD

Today was the unofficial last day of school. Tomorrow is THE last day, but it's just stupid, boring prize presentation., so I count today as the last day.

best memories of 6E included the Grad Night dance practices and our very own 6E project. So on the 6E class project: it was definitely fantastic with all of us doing the report, powerpoint and model. well. except for a few people but we were still a group.

making the model was deff the best part of the 6E project. so it was mainly Sarah, Ying Yi, Yun Ting, Wei Shi, Li Ying. Jaymond and me who helped in making the model. Can still remember how we were messing around on the first few days cause we were making jokes and laughing a lot while making the model. remember sarah saying some stuff that only girls should hear (sorry jay. btw i've taken to calling lotsa people by short-form names.).

the dance rocked. for the first day, because my mp3 sucked, we got delayed a bit. the boys were just fooling around (fat lot of help there, boys... *heavy sarcasm dripping from every word in HUGE, crystal-clear drops*). Li Ying and Sabrina choreographed the dance steps and sarah executed them perfectly over the next couple of days. the best dancers were the 3 of them and Jing Yi. the four of them RAWKED.

then in school we were practising like hell for the audition. then mrs Lee-Goy chanced upon us practising in the hall and helped us with the formation and the hand-holding part. Mrs Cha and Ms Asma gave us tips too, which improved our dance. thanks to them, our dance turned out great. thank you to all who helped and all the dancers. it was one of the best nights of my life.

so that concludes my little trip down memory lane. back to the real world. thank you to everyone who made my life in Northland - 1H, 2H, 3AA, 4AA, 5E and 6E (6E especially) - some of the best years of my life.

hello to all. yesterday Boyu came over and we were actually planning to dance but didnt. well, we danced but just a little.

so at first we met at Northpoint. i was rushing there after coming home from Toa Payoh with my famiy. then we wentto 7-Eleven to buy snacks. afterwards we went over to my place and we watched some videos, more specifically TAI TV (pronounced "T-A-I TV", not "tai tv" ). I LOVE TAI TV!!!

afterwards were were dancing a little to Do Somethin', Overprotected, Get Up and Show Me The Money. woohoo. was exhausting was fun.

on another completely unrelated note i realise that my Covenant story has been at a standstill for a LONG time. i might restart it soon. i'm starting on a few new projects. so watch this space! in fact i'm thinking of starting another blog, dedicated entirely to my new writing projects. have fun.

last night was SO the best night EVER. at the very least, FOR ME.

we performers arrived at school at about 3:30 pm for the rehearsal. but it was only at four that we actually HAD the rehearsal. seeing others dance was surreal. cause their dances were lively and everything. and there were 2 joke groups. the 1st group was pretty good but the 2nd one was kind of lame. plus there was this one solo singer who was... okay... at best... and there was a singing group that did Dirty Little Secret. they basically had ZERO stage presence. they didn't even REALLY perform it. the guitars and everything was so damn FAKE! though that's one sa-weet electric guitar. i might sing better. (jkjk :DD)

and there was this dance called Black and White by 6A and another class (can't remember which). it was pretty complicated and there was a minor mess-up at the end. then after that it was the solo singer, followed by the singing group. then it was this dance called You Can't Stop The Beat.

then it was time for OVERPROTECTED!!! :DD we actually did well, in my opinion :P except that i did one part a LITTLE too fast cause i was too busy hissing at aaron to get in line. luckily i managed to make up for it. i think. then at the end, we had to be in our ending poses till the emcees came on stage, talked a bit and announced, "DINNERTIME!", at which point we had to completely spaz out and yell "HOORAY!" which we didn't EXACTLY pull off. we then had to run offstage in embarrassment (well. not really. but it adds drama to the sentence).

then during dinnertime we changed into our retro outfits. i wore the green-and-black dress top, my jeans and my black pumps which i realised are excellent for running, dancing and spinning (during the dance). then i wore a black necklace which i bought just yesterday and the white hairband i bought at Far East.

afterwards we were having dinner when sbd sprayed peng seng (PSLE-E+WS! XDXDXD (inside 6E joke)) with sort-of hair dye, then sbd sprayed jiaming TOTALLY. dark pink hair looks absolutely good on him. XD

then afterwards there was te 2nd jokes group, then the game of the night. it involved a lot of cheating. haha. after that there was the dance Butterfly, then Pump It and That Thing You Do. That Thing You Do was performed by 6F, which won the Best Performace prize (like DUH! they are so good AND so damn cute! XDXDXD). though personally, i think that Nigel looked like a rotten banana, what with his yellow-orange dressing (yeah, ROTTEN BANANA).

after the 6F dance there was the prize presentation for Best Hairdo, Miss and Mr Retro, Best Performance and Young Lady and Gentleman awards, NOT IN THAT ORDER. KAI EN WON THE YOUNG LADY AWARD!!!all of us 6E-ians were screaming and applauding for her!!! she SOO deserves it. HUGGS :P

after that it was the dancing part. like MASS DANCE. teachers got up on stage to dance, along with some of the alumni. we then danced too, with sarah leading us. she's probably one of THE best dancers around. loves!!! :DD

i was super sad when it had to end. i loveee dancing, cause it's soooo fun. shall dance the next chance i get to do so. :DD

woohoo. just went to orchard with aneka. first we met in northpoint and then had lunch at BK in GV. then we boarded the MRT to orchard! we got out and walked A LOT trying to find Far East Plaza. discovered that we walked the wrong way and ended up at Plaza Singapura. so we went in and discovered just how overpriced everything was. so we took the train to orchard and walked the RIGHT WAY this time and went to Far East. went to Chameleon first and i bought a white hairband and green earrings for GN (grad night).

afterwards we went to Alano and saw some GREAT dresses n yops going for $10 n $8 respectively. aneka liked a particular shimmery top a LOT but didnt buy at first in case there were other tops arnd. so after some MORE walking around we found that the nice ones were all so EX, except for one rather cheap one but it was see-through. so we went back to Alano and aneka bought the shimmery top!

then we walked around trying to find this one shop that sells hard-rock tshirts. maybe i found the shop, maybe i didnt, but anyway it was tiring. we then went to buy Gelato ice cream. it's 99%/95% fat-free ice cream (99% for fruit flavours, 95% for milk-based). so it's actually a good thing. tiramisu flaour rocks. it has real tiramisu in it!!!

then we walked arnd a bit more and then went to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks and bought spicy chicken (for me) and sausage crepe (for Aneka). we then went to eat them and afterwards we took a few photos! :DD

after that we decided to go home cause there was nothing else to do. but we walked arnd to the 4th n 5th floors first before we went back to the MRT station to get home.

then AFTER i went home i went out at like 6.30??? or so to get a haircut. i had my hair layered and cut shorter. i think it looks nicer now. n cos my sis and i go to that hairdressers' sometimes, they know me. i went to cut my hair theree only 2 mths ago. here's a convo between th two hairdressers there:

HD1 (hairdresser one, the one doing my hair): Eh, she's that girl's younger sister right? Elaine's daughter?
HD2: Yah...
HD1: Wah, a lot of hair leh! (cos i DO hav a lot of hair)
HD2: Last time I cut her hair also a lot of hair!
HD1 (to me): Wah, girl, a lt of hair hor? don't scare me, later i cut all your hair!
Me: Errr... (mumbles) (can't even remember what i mumbled)

LOL. but now my head feels lighter , in a good way. WHEEE!!! :DD

ahahahs. going out with aneka later to accompany her in retro-clothes shopping. i already have mine: a green and black dress-top, black leggings and black pumps. accessories include a white bangle and a hairband. maybe i'll wear my heartbat necklace, or get a new one. it shall be GREEN to match my dress top. whee.

wahh. went to eugene's place today.

went to J8 first. though i met up with them only later cause i had to have breakfast with my family first. so i met Boyu, Wei Qi, Zong Yao and Eugene at J8. we went to the arcade where i sponsored $20 for the games and spent $20 on the new Avenged Sevenfold album! :DD

then at about 1 we went to ET's house. where we played computer games and played volleyball! aaron and bryan came too. loved the volleyball part best. bring it on, people! we girls won a couple of times. i realised that i'm pretty ok at hitting long-distance. just okay la, neither good nor bad. i'm also ok at catching! HA to the boys who say i can't catch!!!

then we had dinner at eugene's place, though i went home right after dinner. parents called. :P would like to go there with the same group and have fun again. XD

well well well. i'm back from MALAYSIA!!! missed s'pore. sweet sweet s'pore. here's the diary, of sorts.

Day 1

assembled in school at 6am!!! we got on the bus only at, like 7 or so. then we headed for malaysia. we cleared immigration etc etc. then we headed towards Putrajaya. we went to Yong Peng first, then we headed to a restaurant for lunch. then during lunch i spilt water over xt by accident. XD it was kinda funny. but still. i did NOT mean it. then afterwards we headed to Putrajaya. it was so nice. there was a super nice lake. later on we headed towards KL. went arnd quite a lot la... dinnertime we stopped at Times Square. love Times Square. i love that place! then we checked in at Grand Bluewave Hotel. it was nice, but i didnt have a good sleep because of the chanting early in the morning. not that i hate religion, but i just couldn't sleep due to the noise.

woke up at 6 plus today, though the morning call was at 7. we had a buffet breakfast. then we headed for Penang. we went to a limestone cave enroute to Penang. it was a temple built in the cave. i didn go up the steps. it was so wet and narrow. and knowing me, if i just mis-stepped... bye, i wouldn't be typing here. we also went for lunch. during lunch, xt spilt soup on jm. HA. afterwards we headed for Penang on the Penang bridge, very nice sea view. we walked arnd penang then, churches, etc and Fort Cornwallis. then we had dinner at the top of Komtar. later on we checked into Sunway Hotel and that was that.

Day 3

today we went around penang for the entire day. we went to Kek Lok Si Temple but couldnt go to the pagoda since one entrance was closed and the other had ppl charging 2 ringgit per entry. then we went SHOPPING!!! i bought keychains, a wooden cobra and a t-shirt. afterwards we went to a couple of temples and then a tropcal fruit farm. it was way high. i might have fallen off, due to my phobia of heights. then afterwards we were walking around and then we went to Gurney Mall for some shopping, though i didnt really buy anything. then we had dinner at a malay restaurant, after which we went back to the hotel to rest for the night.

Day 4

something happened this morning, although i'm not at liberty to discuss it. it involved three boys in 6E. anyway we went to Malacca today after leaving the hotel. spent MANY hours in the bus because Penang is faaar from Malacca. we went to the Portuguese Square and shopped a bit. there was also a fountain that i think is dedicated to Victoria Regina. haha. Regina is Latin for "Queen", so there. =)) we went to the Stadthuys, A' Farmosa, St Francis Xavier Church, temples, Bukit China, and the King's Well. it was such an amazing experience. then we had dinner and then we went to Jonkers Street ad shopped at the bazaar. my fave buy at the bazaar was a mini guitar model. i LOVE it. might as well buy a small model version if i can't get a real one. =DD loved Jonkers Street. and i had a name keychain made, made of bent wire. then afterwards we checked in at Everly Resort, the BEST hotel out of the three we stayed in!!! it was WAY amazing. it was a condo and i stayed with all the 6E girls. shiya and liying traded rooms, so now my roomies were Juliana and Shi Ya. we three got the worse room. we had to use the bathroom all the way at the guest area. but we had a great time chatting. love 'em. great friends.

Day 5

THE last day! we went to a Baba Nyonya Museum. i loved it. love museums. then we got our keychains. it's NICE! then we had lunch at a restaurant, after which we headed back to singapore but not before we stopped at a shop selling Malacca specialties, where i bought dodol, type of cake. took such a LONG time to go back to Singapore. oh well. we got back HOME! no place like home!
