Hello again. I am really bored, although I can use the computer for another two and a half hours. I am seriously BORED! I have also been listening to Miles Apart recently. My love for the song borders on "obsession". I must listen to it at least THRICE a day!!! That's how addicted I am to Yellowcard and their songs. Especially Miles Apart, now that I think of it. It's even in my MSN screen-name. Haha! Signing off now, sayonara!

I've been listening to a song called Dirty Little Secret by The All-American Rejects quite a lot recently! I find it a very nice song!!!

Dirty Little Secret

Let me know that I've done wrong
When I've known this all along
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you

Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret

Who has to know
When we live such fragile lives
It's the best way we survive
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you

Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know

I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret

Who has to know
The way she feels inside (inside)
Those thoughts I can't deny (deny)
These sleeping dogs won't lie (won't lie)
And now I try to lie
It's eating me apart
Trace this life out

I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret)
I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret
Dirty little secret
Dirty little secret

Who has to know
Who has to know

Hello! I have got 3 minutes left to use the computer, as I'm allowed to use it up to 11:01 p.m. It's 10:58 p.m. now. I must sleep soon! Got to go, au revoir!

Hiya! What do you think of the new blogskin? It's pretty ugly, I know. I plan to re-design the border and navigation pictures. Do give comments on how to redesign the border and navigation pictures, thank you very much! My current ideas are to replace the navigation pictures with stars and the border will be more bookish, like a diary. The text coding will also be changed soon. About next week, I think.

By the way, I just watched the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. It is one of THE best movies I have ever watched! The ending is unbelievable and there are some entertainingly funny parts, such as the part where the crew of the Black Pearl is locked up in two seperate round cages and they swing the suspended cages to reach a cliff wall so that they can grab vines to climb up and escape the island that is inhabited by a tribe of people who think Jack Sparrow's a god in human form. There's this cute circus-like music during this particular scene. Go watch it, you'll be sure to rave about its greatness!!!

My ear's infected, and there's this thick yellowish liquid (pus?) oozing out of the ear piercing, blood included. Totally gross, I know, but it IS an infection. The alcohol swabs hurt. Oh no, my mum is about to scold me for using the computer for so long.

Just now, on HBO, there was something on Superman Returns. My sister was gushing on about Brandon Routh. She's a typical boy-and-soccer-star-and-actor-crazy teenager. I don't know if she's crazy about singers too. I doubt so. I think I'm the one who's crazy about singers. I do like certain soccer stars too, though. These days, everything's about Zidane's attack on Materazzi. There's even something on it in the Sunday Times. And my sister wants to use the computer, so I'm signing off now.

I came back from the NE show about an hour ago. It was pretty cool, especially the fireworks. I just LOVED it. Except for the fact that those sitting at the fireworks' side had to open up a given umbrella which was pretty clear for viewing. Too bad we couldn't take back the umbrellas. I was kinda bored though, after the show, because
1. I wasn't in my own beloved class
2. I was partner-less
3. I was ultra-bored
4. Lynn and I sms-ed each other but she kept teasing me. I teased her back. Oh, but she sent me 2 funny photos - one of Eugene grinning and the other of Eugene and Akash. Lynn seems to like Eugene (that remark is meant as a retort for all the times she says I like Xie ting. Eew.), MUAHAHAHA.

So at the end of the show, the announcer was calling out school names. Whenever she finished calling each group of schools, we were shouting " OOOIIIIII!!!" because Northland wasn't called out. At onne time, the announcer said North, thus majority of us had thought, "Northland, Northland..." until she said it was North Spring or North View Primary. We just booed a whole lot until Northland was called out.

During the bus trip back, Zoey and I were chatting quite animatedly! Ha, good night early morning!

Okay, I cannot wait for the NE Show!!! I hope it's going to be fun! One problem, though, is that Lynelle may not be going because she had a fever and is okay now. But she's unsure if she's allowed to go. Ah well. Anyway, I have an urge to blog (however pointless it may be) before I go to the NE show! Au revoir (That, my friend, is French for see you later!)!

I simply CANNOT wait for tomorrow's NE show, aka NDP full dress rehearsal (something like that, anyway). I think I will bring my handphone there! At last, I can bring my handphone to some school event, except that this is not exactly a school event!!! Yay! Problem is, Lynelle is running a fever so perhaps I cannot follow her home. I mean, she can't go if she's sick, right?
I'm gonna love the NE Show. I wonder what will be this year's NDP song.

Ok, I am cursed blessed with such crazy wonderful friends! They keep talking about me and the guys. First it was Eugene, then Xie Ting, then Nigel, then Xie Ting again!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WONDERFUL BUDDIES? Not that they aren't great now. But it's so irritating having to put up with their "Oh you like (person here) right?" Simply horrible.

Eugene's totally irritating - when I called him to ask about today's homework, he pretended not to hear me near the end of our, um, conversation. I was shouting at him!!! =.=

These Walls

I can't believe what is in front of me
The water's rising up to my knees
And I can't figure out
How the hell I wound up here
Everything seemed okay when I started out the other day
Then the rain came pouring down
And now I'm drowning in my fears

And as I watch the setting sun
I wonder if I'm the only one

[Chorus]
Cause everybody tries to put some love on the line
And everybody feels a broken heart sometimes
And even when I'm scared I have to try to fly
Sometimes I fall
But ive seen it done before
I got to step outside these walls

I've got no master plan to help me out
Or make me stand up for
All the things I really want
You had me too afraid to ask

And as I look ahead of me
Cry and pray for sanity

[chorus]

These walls can't be my haven
These walls can't keep me safe here
Now I guess I got to let them down

Cause everybody tries to put some love on the line
And everybody feels a broken heart sometimes, yeah
Even when I'm scared I have to try to fly
Sometimes I fall
But I've seen it done before

I got to break out...
I got to break out...
I got to step outside these walls
Love outside these walls
I feel my heart breaking
But it's a brand new day
I'm going down
I'm stepping out
I'm stepping outside
These walls (I've seen it done before.. i'm walking on, i'll walk it off, oh i'm moving on)

Hi... What's up with the world, I don't know. My parents are sick, my two friends are sick and two guys in my class are sick, namely Nigel and Xie Ting. At least, I THINK Nigel is sick. As for Xie Ting, it was only at dismissal time was it known that he was sick. No wonder he looked so tired and, what, morose today. Don't ask me how it seems nobody else noticed. Sickness is taking over Singapore* :P

For You I Will (Confidence)

Wandering the streets in a world underneath it all
Nothing seems to be
Nothing tastes as sweet as what I can't have
Like you and the way that you're twisting your hair round your finger
Tonight I'm not afraid to tell you
What I feel about you

Oh I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
And cannonball into the water
Oh I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
For you I will, for you I will

Forgive me if I st-stutter
From all the clutter in my head
Cause I could fall asleep in those eyes
Like a water bed
Do I seem familiar
I've crossed you in hallways a thousand times
No more camouflage I want to be exposed
And not be afraid to fall

Oh I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
And cannonball into the water
Oh I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
For you I will

You always want what you can't have, but I've got to try
I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
For you I will, for you I will, for you I will, for you

If I could dim the lights in the mall
And create a mood (yeah), I would
And shout out your name so it echoes in every room
I would (yeah-eh)
That's what I'd do (ahh ahh~)
That's what I'd do (ahh ahh~)
To get through to you (yeah)

Oh I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
And cannonball into the water
I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
For you I will

You always want what you can't have
But I've got to try
I'm gonna muster every ounce of confidence I have
For you I will, for you I will, for you I will
For you I will

My sister bought a set of Cadbury bears. They are super cute! There are three - one brown, one white and one tan! The bears all wear t-shirts bearing the slogan I *heart* Cadbury. The brown one wears a white t-shirt, the white one wears a pale pink t-shirt and the tan one wears a dark-blue t-shirt. There are cute and cuddly. Kawaii! Oh yeah...she also bought them from a friend of hers.

Talking abut my sis, I realised that she thinks of Cristiano Ronaldo as nothing more then a pretty boy...This will probably incur the wrath of serious Portugal fans, no?

First period - bright and cheery
From second period to recess time: unbearably sleepy
Recess-time to Chinese period: Kinda bright and cheery
Chinese peroid: Frustration and sleepiness kicked in. Again
Rest of the day: Still horribly sleepy!
Why? Because I watched the World Cup final!

From now on, I can blog only from 7:15pm onwards every day, until the air-conditioner in the master bedroom is fixed or my dad doesn't work the night shift. So my dad will be sleeping in my room till 7. Which means I cannot blog from 2:30pm or so to 7:15pm.

On a happier note, Italy w~o~n~! Zinedine Zidane headbutted Marco Materazzi during extra-time in the 110th minute and got sent off with a red card. However, I'm suffering from *sniff* Post-World-Cup-Depression, a.k.a PWCD as I call it.
And about Cristiano Ronaldo prompting the referee to send Rooney off, I think his action was "justified", in the words of my cousin. In her words: "His action is justified lah! You see your team-mate in pain you won't help hah?" Something like that. My sis and I agree wholly. A guy in my class, Hong Xiang, thinks what Cristiano Ronaldo did was wrong. Just like my other cousin, Kuan Wee. He's a big England fan, just like Xie Ting... And Kuan Wee supports France, like Eugene. Hey, these guys are just like each other!!!

It's half-time of the World Cup final, and so I am here blogging. The score is currently 1-1. Zinedine Zidane scored a penalty goal in the 7th minute, while Marco Materazzi scored a goal in the 19th minute. There were a couple of small injuries, but Thierry Henry fell early in the game, looking concussed but returned to the game anyway. Both teams stand equal chances. The final's quite a brutal affair, however. This is the first World Cup final match I'm watching, so I will definitely catch the whole match. Gotta go, good luck Azzurri!

I am going to sleep at 7:45pm and wake at 1:50am/2am/3am to watch the match. The first two times are for the WHOLE game. The 3am time is for second half. L'Italia trionferà!!!!

I just read Sihsi's post dated sometime in Term 2. She posted something about class photos, and I JUST REMEMBERED! About the class photos, that is. I want to order a Formal shot and Fun 2 shot. I look stupid in Fun 1. Victory sign is equivalent to stupid looking. For me, anyway. ><

Oh, and I also made some minor but probably noticeable changes in the blogskin. Like colours in the "posted at" parts, a music-less blog and scrollbar colours. I'm currently listening to Teddy Geiger's songs as I type. He's a good singer and sounds mature for a 17-year-old.

My ears HURT, and it's because of my neighbour off-key-singing into the night. Even my 5-year-old cousin's brand of rapping *cough* sounds nicer. My neighbours are horrible at singing. Their dad sings karaoke in the day, his two sons sing occasionally at night. The elder son has a band and he sings SO horribly. My own off-key renditions of songs actually sound like hit songs next to his. His kid brother sings badly too. Like:

(original)[high pitch] I just wanna live...
(HIM)(too high-pitch) I just wanna LI-IVE!

See??? The elder son's at it again. This is NOISE POLLUTION! I'll go stuff wads of tissue into my ears next time the family sing. Peace shall prevail for yours truly!

And my sister's screeching away and I just stuffed tissue paper into my ears for a few seconds.

Aww, Portugal lost to France. I was seriously considering throwing my France soccer jersey handphone strap out of the window. Just today, a certain classmate asked if I had any unwanted soccer-related stuff and said if I did would I give them to this classmate (I don't want gossipy/feminist friends to gossip about me, so I'm using "classmate".). So I was like, "Yeah I do have unwanted handphone straps." and I'd gladly give them away and so tomorrow, I'll be giving this classmate the handphone straps. Sweden and France are the handphone straps to be given. I lost the Poland one.

Miles Apart

If I could I would do all of this again
Travel back in time with you to where this all began
We could hide inside ourselves and leave the world behind
And make believe there's something left to find

We'll be miles apart
I'll keep you deep inside
You're always in my heart
A new life to start
I may be leaving but you're always in my heart

Now we've all grown up, gone on and moved away
Nothing I can do about it, nothing I can say
To bring us back to where we were when life was not this hard (life was not this hard)
Looking back it all just seems so far, so far away

We'll be miles apart
I'll keep you deep inside
You're always in my heart
A new life to start
I may be leaving but you're always in my heart

I'd give it up for just one more day with you
Give it up for just one more day
I'd give it up for just one more day with you
I'd give it up for just one more day with you
Give it up for just one more day
I'd give it up for just one more day with you
I'd give it up for just one more day with you
Give it up, give it all away
I'd give it up for just one more day with you

We'll be miles apart
I'll keep you deep inside
You're always in my heart
A new life to start
I may be leaving but you're always in my heart

I need you now, we're miles apart
I'll keep you deep inside
You're always in my heart
I need you now, we're miles apart
I may be leaving but you're always in my heart

Ocean Avenue

There's a place off Ocean Avenue
Where I used to sit and talk with you
We were both 16 and it felt so right
Sleeping all day, staying up all night
Staying up all night

There's a place on the corner of Cherry Street
We would walk on the beach in our bare feet
We were both 18 and it felt so right
Sleeping all day, staying up all night
Staying up all night

If I could find you now things would get better
We could leave this town and run forever
Let your waves crash down on me and take me away
There's a piece of you that's here with me
It's everywhere I go, it's everything I see

When I sleep, I dream and it gets me by
I can make believe that you're here tonight
That you're here tonight

If I could find you now things would get better
We could leave this town and run forever
I know somewhere, somehow we'll be together
Let your waves crash down on me and take me away

I remember the look in your eyes
When I told you that this was goodbye
You were begging me not tonight
Not here, not now
We're looking up at the same night sky
And keep pretending the sun will not rise
Be together for one more night
Somewhere, somehow

If I could find you now things would get better
We could leave this town and run forever
I know somewhere, somehow we'll be together
Let your waves crash down on me and take me away

Recently I've re-started playing this online dog simulation game, or dog sim for short, called Dog Realm. I haven't played it for months and it has become much more fun! I really like it. One can buy and breed dogs. There can't be any crossbreeds, of course. You keep your dogs and puppies in a kennel. I named mine Majesty Kennel, with over 100 dogs and puppies in all. Isn't that cool? I've got dogs of all 9 dog groups in DR, so basically I'm good. I've got over 100,000 DP, which stands for Dogrealm Points. I'm aiming to buy more dogs.

Argentina lost to Germany
England lost to Portugal
AND THE MOST HEARTBREAKING EVENT OF ALL
Brazil lost to France!

I support all the losing teams. I hope the next few years pass by quickly so I can watch the Cup again. Ah well, at least Brazil has won the Cup 5 times, England has some pretty good-looking/famous players and Argentina...um, Argentina plays great football on average...

Artiste: Avenged Sevenfold
Song: Afterlife
Album: Avenged Sevenfold

Like walking into a dream,
So unlike what you've seen
So unsure but it seems,
'Cause we’ve been waiting for you
Fallen into this place,
Just giving you a small taste
Of your afterlife here so stay,
You'll be back here soon anyway

I see a distant light,
But girl this can't be right
Such a surreal place to see
so how did this come to be
Arrived too early

And when I think of all the places
I just don't belong
I've come to grips with life
And realize this is going too far

I don't belong here,
We gotta move on dear
Escape from this afterlife
'Cause this time I'm right
To move on and on,
Far away from here

A place of hope and no pain,
Perfect skies with no rain
Can leave this place but refrain,
'Cause we've been waiting for you

Fallen into this place,
Just giving you a small taste
Of your afterlife here so stay,
You'll be back here soon anyway

This peace on earth's not right
(with my back against the wall)
No pain or sign of time
(I’m much too young to fall)
So out of place don't wanna stay,
I feel wrong and that's my sign
I've made up my mind

Gave me your hand but realize
I just wanna say goodbye
Please understand I have to leave
And carry on my own life

I don't belong here,
We gotta move on dear
Escape from this afterlife
'Cause this time I'm right
To move on and on,
Far away from here

Got nothing against you
and surely I'll miss you
This place full of peace and light,
And I’d hope you might
Take me back inside
When the time is right

Loved ones back home all crying
'Cause they're already missing me
I pray by the grace of God
That there's somebody listening
Give me a chance to be that person I wanna be
(I am unbroken; I’m choking on this ecstasy)
Oh Lord I'll try so hard but you gotta let go of me
(Unbreak me, unchain me, I need another chance to live)

[Solo]

I don't belong here,
We gotta move on dear
Escape from this afterlife
'Cause this time I'm right
To move on and on,
Far away from here

Got nothing against you
And surely I'll miss you
This place full of peace and light,
And I’d hope you might
Take me back inside
When the time is right
